Investiture of Academy Members, Library of Congress, Oct. 23, 2024

The Academy held its annual Investiture Ceremony at the Library of Congress on Oct. 23, 2024. At the ceremony, the Academy invested 60 new members, including the ten winners of the 2024 Barry Prize for Distinguished Intellectual Achievement, as well as the winner of the 2024 Robert J. Zimmer Medal, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya.
New members who were present at the ceremony that evening, and not receiving other awards, were invited on stage to be recognized and receive the gold medal of Academy membership. The new members thus recognized were:
