Honorable minister, can we have one international airport in Edo or Delta State? When you take statistics on the numbers of travellers on every international flights to Nigeria, you'll agree with me that majority of the passengers are from Edo and Delta extractions. Say for example, an international airport in Edo State will simply serve the good people of Delta, Ondo and Kogi without having to go through major stress before getting home. Please put this in your plan and we will appreciate you.

According to what he said, the larger cost will be on the airline, because it won't need insurance services if they operate accordingly, you heard what he said, that the insurance company will be in the airport to support only when they're facing challenges about their flight.

And again, how many of these plans can be implemented within the 4-year term and if these plans are actually implemented, what are the plans to ensure continuity? So in 2024 at the middle of technological advancement and avalanche of IT enterprise system, the minister decided to be archaic and backward. Why would FAAN/Aviation officers be flying and walking around with physical confidential files of our aviation sector. These documents can be sent by a click of a button either via email or any shared drive like (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox etc). But as Nigerians, we must work with PHYSICAL FILES and booking flights worth over 1 BILLION NAIRA annually to fly ABuja to Lagos. What a waste and display of crude incompetency. Instead of investing about 5% or 10% of that money (100 million) to provision IT infrastructure that will integrate your work flow and cut all manners of working with confidential files on the street. With terrorist and kidnappers everywhere we cant afford to have sensitive aviation files flying on our streets. Minister you can do better.
