    Hey just wanted to say I really appreciate you making this content free and available for everyone, got an interview at Datadog soon and am hoping to get the job and excel at the carrer so content like this that is hyper focused on the industry is extremely helpful.

      Love to hear it and good luck in your Datadog interview. That is in a very similar space to my current role (borderline competitor in some cases). If I can help with any questions along the way feel free to reach out!
      Keep us posted on how it goes!

    Absolutely amazing video. VERY insightful on how to succeed.
    One thing I thought was interesting is that he said 60% of his quota came from Salesforce reports which allowed him to discover low hanging fruit.
    What kind of reports do you create to find opportunities?

    • @techsales-higherlevels
      @techsales-higherlevels  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on the lead types of your company. A very obvious one is closed lost opportunities in the past year or two. Beyond that you build reports around other lead types and criteria that other SDRs aren't taking the time to try

    Hey Eric, can you please help with navigating the “lead the discovery call” video? It currently shows as being hidden. I have my mock presentation round in a week’s time, going through the video would be immensely helpful.

      Which video are you referring to? I have a few on discovery calls but not seeing one with that title

    Is it possible to get into tech sales with no diploma no degree? Only having a GED!
    A little back story, being 35yrs old,
    I've been in the restaurant management industry for over 10 years.
    Looking to change careers. I have been applying on linkedin,indeed and glassdoor with all rejections for the past month.
    Will doing this Program actually help me get an interview and land a role as an SDR?

    • @techsales-higherlevels
      @techsales-higherlevels  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Definitely possible, we've had several students land jobs without degrees but with relevant working experience.
      For your reference, our Tech Sales Ascension Program is designed to help students break in (www.higherlevels.com/ascension). In your case with the restaurant experience that you have, I'd recommend a great starting point would be looking for companies that sell to other restaurants and small businesses (Toast, Podium, ChowNow, etc...) Lots of companies fall into this category.
      If you have any questions along the way let me know!

      I also not sure if its best to mention on the resume but I am co/owner of both restaurants. ( one shut down due to the pandemic) still operating one.
      I'm also an Amazon seller utilizing 4-5 software tools and a variety of chrome extensions as well as have systems in place for my VAs to help run the amazon buisness. Been running the amazon OA/wholesale for 3 years so far and have exceeded over $2million in revenue managing alot of asin/sku/brands also in Google sheets ran by my COO in the Philippines(VAs).

      @@zoomlin8464 Lots of good stuff there, it would definitely help to mention you're a co-owner especially if you're targeting companies that sell to restaurants and small businesses. If you have any questions let me know!
      And if you're looking for structured training and also live calls with myself and other students in the industry you can check out our full bootcamp: www.higherlevels.com/ascension
