    The fact that he told Amber Frye his wife was missing before she was ever missing is all I need to know. Obviously, I would never be okay with someone being wrongfully incarcerated. If the LAIP has proof of his innocence, then by all means, show us the evidence. I can't imagine how tough this will all be on Lacey's family and friends. Having to relive this tragedy all over again. Sending prayers for strength to all who know and love Lacey ❤️ 🙏🏻

    I think the biggest evidence for his innocence that was not allowed to be brought up in trial were the tests done on the exact same boat he had with 150 lb. Pretend body in it that they took out to the bay and discovered if they tried to dump that body the boat capsized.
    That and the jurors did not get to hear the different sightings of Lacey throughout the morning because that was not ever brought up.
    And the police stated the burglary was on the 26th when in fact it was on the 24tb

    • @sophie8394
      @sophie8394 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      It wasn't the exact same boat. It was 2 ft smaller and had a modified wooden sub-floor. The guy playing the part of Scott was wearing a weight belt and anyone could see he was deliberately trying to tip that boat. The judge offered the defense an opportunity to redo the demonstration with Scott's actual boat and they declined.
      The jurors absolutely heard about the alleged sightings. They just never heard their testimony bc Geragos knew better than to call them as witnesses.

Buy a fishing license a week before he killed her but said it was a last minute decision to the police? Buy fresh water lures that were not used for sturgeon still in the packaging as he claimed he was fishing for? With fresh water poles that didn't even have a line? Oh and my favorite, he made 5 cement anchors, four of which, we're never found and the one that was in the boat didn't have a rope tied to it nor the boat.

    Unfortunately, Dan all of the evidence you speak of is circumstantial, and where is the forensic evidence? You can't say the case wasn't flawed, without proper investigations into other leads and all the misdeeds of the jury, proven after the case that they had it in for him. Questions about the burnt van, burlars next door, all these witnesses who claimed to see Laci walking the dog, and of course where the dog came from with its leash on. I am saying all of these unanswered questions have led to the Innocence Project taking the case.

    Scott is the one who would benefit from his wife being gone. But there was no physical evidence of a crime in the home. What this news segment didnt mention, was that scotts alibi was released to the public before Laci was found. Theres eye witnesses that Laci was walking the neighborhood and that there was a a suspicious man in the neighborhood. If this was a crime of opportunity the real killer knew exactly where to dump Laci's body because Scotts alibi was released tot he public! That right there is a reason to re-investigate the case.
