    Putting an innocent man behind bars is very unfair but many things don’t add up. Very suspicious behavior - it’s been decades and People are forgetting - he sold his wife’s car while they were looking for her, he was caught at the Mexico border with his hair dyed blonde and carrying his brother’s license and many other things.

      @@JewandGreek , it was near the border. There is another report where he explained that the border was a coincidence. He was using his brother’s ID to get a discount at the golf club and blonde hair was a disguise to avoid the press. He had 15k cash and some viagra. Of course having viagra doesn’t mean he killed but the other things don’t add up. Besides his brother’s ID, he has few other IDs. Let’s see what innocent project has since they are looking for a retrial. Being despicable doesn’t mean he killed but there are too many coincidences.

      In a nationally televised interview, while she was still considered missing, he referred to her in the past tense - that's pretty weird. My gut says he's absolutely, positively guilty but it's a werid case - they have zero physical evidence - nothing. You look at the OJ case and they actually had considerable physical evidence - the victim's blood in his car, video of his vehicle leaving the scene, the gloves fell off because they were kinda tight (doh), he runs, he tells Cowling he's suicidal, etc....and the guy walks. This guy/weirdo is guilty, almost certainly, but I don't think it's provable in a court of law. Like I said, this is a weird one. They have no crime scene, no murder weapon, can't even prove absolutely he was the last person to see his wife....etc. He sure as hell looks guilty to me based upon a lot of circumstantial evidence. But can it be proven beyond a reasonable doubt enough to throw the guy in prison for life? That's an entirely different thing that most of the geniuses in this comments section fail to understand. And, again, bizarrely I strongly feel the guy is guilty. The reality is that some people get away with murder - it sucks, but it happens. It may end up happening in this case for a lack of hard evidence. The world will keep spinning, and, social media will have more crap to argue about for another 20 years.

      Would not be the first person to refer to a spouse or significant other as being deceased while in an effort to cheat. Not the best argument I know but historically true. It is the least likely to not be believed by the new girlfriend. Unfortunate the circumstances developed the way they did. And yes I can see the coincidence making it look suspicious. But that alone doesn't close the door on the case. People have been cheating for centuries. As a woman ask yourself this. If you met a man. Would you hook up if he said he was in a bad relationship but still married with an expectant child, going through a divorce with an expectant child or moving on from the death of a loved spouse? I personally don't condone the cheating but that is a long way off from being a murderer.

    So they think two burglars murdered her and TOOK THE TIME to wrap her body in a tarp, weigh her down with cement weights, take a boat way out in the bay and then dump her body? Really?!?!? They would go through all that trouble to dispose of a body? If it doesn't make sense, it's usually not true.

    • @tcudahey9550
      @tcudahey9550 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +25

      Agreed. Stranger on stranger murders aren’t covered up to this degree; weighing the body down with cement and going out into a large body of water to dispose of and conceal the body. That’s too risky, he could be caught with the dead body or he could drown at sea. Or perhaps run into a police boat while attempting to dump the body.
      With stranger on stranger murders, the killer usually just leaves the body where it is and boogies out of there as fast as they can. The stranger killer knows that the body cannot be linked to him via other people because he doesn’t know the victim. When a killer knows his victim, he goes to great lengths to make sure that the body isn’t found.

      Best way to figure that out is for you to be charged with a serious crime, murder or some such, and you be innocent entirely but you also know they have 'evidence' to make it look like you are guilty, and you are going then to spend the rest of your life in a cage.
      Now, what are you going to do when all this happens directly to you...
      we shall see, if indeed, there really is any justice in this world.

      Lots of video producers are RETITLING and displaying for the VIEWS too.
      According to the producers of many " real crime" shows and police investigators......burglars are an entirely different breed of human from those willing to commit murder..
      "Too cold to golf but not to cold to go fishing on a boat," sounds a bit illogical, Yes but emotionally deranged victims also come up with illogical hypocritical sometimes nonsensical statements also?
      Playing the Devil's Advocate:
      If a man appears to have an "inappropriate emotional response" to his wife's murder, isn't that an OPINION?
      If a man hallucinates visits to Europe to impress his girlfriend he's been cheating with. He'd appear to be ARROGANT and INVENTIVE?
      It's ironic that a handsome hard working man such as Scott, has involved himself with 'DELIVERING BS" to his clients...
      Many other men who liked Lacy (who were capable of this crime by definition) might have been very jealous of this man.
      "The New Detectives' investigators forensics department could have a great time inventing suspicious scenarios of this case, for sure...
      WHERE ARE THE LIE DETECTOR TEST RESULTS btw? (Admissible in court OR Not?!)
      Is this a man with NO male friends who will speak up for him?
      As a creative writer, ALL of the elements exposed easily impress (or "sway") the public;
      As a Defense Prosecutor---It appears some "angles" haven't all been considered, even yet?
      "Man on the Run" an original lament that reminded us of Lacy's devastating end;

He told Amber he lost his wife Dec 9th, same day he bought the boat that no one knew he bought. He sold Lacy's car...was looking to sell their home. Used the babies room as office storage. Ordered the "nasty channels" on cable. Was talking to Amber while at the vigil for Lacy. When he was arrested. He had 15,000 dollars in the car, camping cooking products, knives, several credit cards, his brothers ID, 5 cell phones.. several changes of clothes, shoes. He dyed his hair and goatee. He also spoke in interviews of Lacy in the past tense. Was...vs is. A pair of pliers in the boat w/a strand of Laci's hair wrapped in them.
