If the supplier of the eggs can’t meet the demand for eggs they will do a lil sneaky and grabs eggs from the male AND female enclosure instead of eggs from the female included so then they can meet the demand and if your dedicated you can make a chick from a lil egg
After a few days, you can always try flashing a flashlight through them to see if anything developed. I don't think they're going to hatch, but you never know. Good luck. 😊
you bet!! i have my mini flashlight ready to go and i’m going to check in a couple days. i also don’t have high hopes they’ll hatch, but males often get mixed with females and so you never know - one may be fertile. if not, i’ll purchase fertile eggs from my local farmer 🥰
If those are coturnix quail eggs they hatch in 16 to 18 days. And double check any progress on development on day 5 before you remove them from the incubator
if the eggs were fertile they wouldn't sell them at the store sorry 😅 there's a whole process and everything you should look into it it's really interesting edit I wanted to go into more detail cuz this is really interesting so if there's no male it's 100 not going to be fertile they're just going to lay un fertile eggs after their cycle a
3 days may not be enough time to view if they are really gonna grow, somw start slower. But the likelihood is pretty slim on fertility since some places try not to have any males mixed in and the eggs are older since they have to deal with packaging, shipping, and selling. The drop-off for fertility on eggs drops pretty steeply after a week iirc.
I was with you when you had like 0 subscribers I came back to check hopefully soon you’ll get 1 million girl every few days I checked on you my iPad broke and I came back to check you have so many subs hopefully soon I’ll be like you
Generally speaking anything at the store will not be fertilized. Also once they've been refrigerated you greatly reduce your chance of them hatching even if they were fertilized. Also generally speaking after about 10 days or or so after they are laid if you don't already have them in the incubator the chance of them hatching goes down tremendously even if they haven't been refrigerated and even if they are fertilized.
Grocery store eggs are rarely fertilized, but I’m excited to see if they are! But quail eggs are pretty tasty in ramen, rice, and as a garnish on other dishes like chicken Alfredo. Good luck bestie
How if they were grocery bought, once under refrigeration I doubt will grow maybe but doubtful, as a farm girl in order for us to sell our eggs we had to put up to a light to make sure they were not fertile.
There are wayyyy too many people out there who are misled into believing that you can do this _anywhere_ . No, you can only do this in european countries because the methods used to process the eggs to be made safe for human consumption happens to allow them to be hatched by customers. This is impossible to do in Canada and the USA.
Supermarket eggs can sometimes be fertilized however, that is not what you want to go to. You should get eggs from a breeder I would not recommend getting from a store like Vons.
Quail egg tip: don't buy them from supermarket because they will be unfertile from the freezer but if there are a pack with no freezer then yeah Guys I raised alot of quails so y'all don't gotta hate with the master
I think you'd more luck with duck eggs as apparently duck eggs are sometimes mistaken to have fertilies eggs for some reason I heard some hatch a duck egg in the fridge. For some reason, the cold didn't stop it Although you shouldn't hatch eggs in the fridge It's just a lucky mistake
I did the same on my chanle thing and 3 out of 15 hacked my favourite died and others deformed because of the chemicals put in store eggs and hade to give them away 😢 you have to be imoshenaly prepared
Im not sure about that, if they were cleaned they wont hatch if they were eevee fertile to begin with. Also, its considered to cold especially longer than a week but not unheard of. I would gladly send you somw fertile eggs!
A friend of mind hatched 5 store bought chicken eggs but they all died after a week or two. A farmer then told him it’s because of all the medicines they give the chickens in those farms 😢
It could also be because the grow light was too hot, if it’s slightly too hot, the chicks will develop, and hatch, but they’re organs get scorched and they’re brutally dehydrated so they die shortly afterwards
Some supermarket eggs are fertilised so they will hatch. Otherwise you will just have a really nice omelet
362 likes and no comment lme change that
In my country, they have strict regulations so only unfertilized eggs are sold
Correction- a perfect hard boiled egg
How can we recognize if those are fertilized? So it's like a 50 50 chance?

@@growithjessie Nice! 👍
@growithjessie YOU PUT THE EGGS IN WRONG they should be standing in the circles with the bottom side up
I don't think store eggs are fertilized, so they won't hatch.
SO WHAT HAPPENED???????❤
If those are coturnix quail eggs they hatch in 16 to 18 days. And double check any progress on development on day 5 before you remove them from the incubator
I tried the same thing 1 year ago, now I have an adult grocery store quail in my yard, but it actually took 41 days to hatch
What I hatch them all the time it usually takes 15 to 18 days that crazy
@@im_theONEandONLYnell don’t know why but it’s true

Curious how are the humming bird moths coming along it been a while since you dome another update!
This is the same vibe as me stealing a chicken egg from the kitchen and sleeping with it under my pillow. No girl they are not gonna hatch lmfao.
There is a possibility they will! and if these don’t hatch, i’m going to get fertile eggs from my local farm :))
Fertilised eggs get mixed up with infertile eggs all the time it’s really common
if the eggs were fertile they wouldn't sell them at the store sorry 😅 there's a whole process and everything you should look into it it's really interesting edit I wanted to go into more detail cuz this is really interesting so if there's no male it's 100 not going to be fertile they're just going to lay un fertile eggs after their cycle a
Some supermarkets do sell fertile eggs so it is a bit hit and miss
@@Chaos_Senpai you may be right but it will have to say fertilized egg on it
@@material_Phoenix I tried the same thing; and a quail hatched, there wasn’t written that they were fertile, so now I don’t eat them anymore
@@indoplants7040 that is literally impossible without injection of sperm in the egg do you work in a lab?
@@indoplants7040 also it is extremely illegal to sell fertilized eggs if it isn't marketed as such

Where are you going to keep the quails after they are born? That's always my biggest concern when someone decides to hatch these eggs.

Can you please link the incubator in the comments because I’d really like to buy it😊

I have two quail eggs and I don't know where to start or do?
They've been refrigerated no? I don't think anything will happen after that.
