If you want to do this yourself, but dont want/cant buy the kit, you can also do this with some regular tablesalt! Heat up some water, throw in a whole lot of salt and put it in a container. Add a string or in this case a stone for the crystals to grow on and let it sit for a week. The longer you leave it sit the bigger the crystals will grow :D If you wanna store them, I would recommend storing them with some rice. Otherwise the salt crystals will melt due to moisture in the air! Happy experimenting! 😊
There's another way of "growing" crystals, this was a science project of my class, so all we did is bought 3 things: Pipe cleaners, Alum powder, and food coloring (this is optional tho) So once you bought this things all you have to do now is heat up some water not boiling tho, then trans the hit water into a jar, then dissolve the alum powder (and food color) then roll up your pipe cleaner then dangle it in your dissolved solution and now wait for the crystal to grow ^^ happy experimenting!
I tried growing crystals with a whole different kit, and it never worked i’m glad I’m seeing this video so now I can try again With better information :)
Girl you gotta put the crystal in when it's hot. If you can put it in the water with bare fingers it's no where near hot enough. The crystals form as the liquid cools and get larger as it evaporates.

I saw someone cover theirs in clear nail polish but not sure how well/long that works.
You can do that but with sugar and make your own rock candy on the string
Sugar also works, and is tasty when you go to eat it

Keep growing the little pickle and the others grow keep up the good work
The demon "Error" voice made me subscribe 😂
you should add undisolved crystall powder on top of the crystal seed in the mixture, it helps it grow faster
The trial and ERROR 👹👹👹
"...as long as the LIQUID is dissolved...''
Tell me more. 😆
I had the same thought 😅. Pretty sure it's the powder dissolving not the liquid

Jessie I have an idea with the plants add cinnamon powder to your seeds and they will grow faster and without any mold
i thought you were making a breaking bad reference
Use Borax! Seriously. Borax and food coloring. Look it up. It’s so easy. I do it on shells and rocks.
Try glass containers, no plastic
