I just bought the xp 2.0 a mont ago not knowing they were coming out with this - these bikes are great - I have no complaints - best value for the money and there customer service is the best
I hated my 2.0 and had troubles from the start, they cheaped out too much. Glad they fixed all my complaints ( rotor size, fork travel, bigger motor, grip upgrade), while keeping the same price. I just got a lemon with my 2.0, and it was never really fixed, the brakes, rotors, and motor were all bad but not "bad enough" for lectric to fix, my local shop got some of it fixed, but the motor still sounds broken and screams after 15mph. Also one of my big complains it the pedals are a bit low to the ground on stepthrough so make sure to keep it up on the turn or you will hurt yourself and bike.
Yeah, I find the Lectric quality control to be spotty at best. I suppose that's when you get when you're pushing hard to get the lowest price on the market, but it's still disappointing. On my old XP 1.0, the battery level indicator didn't work -- it never displayed below 100%, even when the battery was empty -- and the left pedal fell off after only 41 miles. I decided to start over with a clean slate and ordered and received a 3.0 in December 2022. It arrived with a small area of flaked-off paint at the main hinge (a minor cosmetic issue) but also a rather snug fit for the battery (which turned out to be a much more serious issue). It seems that either the height or the width of the main frame tube is a little bit too small on my bike. Although I can get the battery in and out, it's a pretty snug fit. I can live with that, but my old battery from my 1.0 would not fit at all. I could barely push it up into the frame tube -- it was a _super_ tight fit -- and I couldn't get it back out again without using a screwdriver to pry it out. (The little pull handle on the battery would surely have snapped right off if I had tried to use it.) And the locking pin in the 1.0 battery didn't line up with the hole in the frame on the 3.0, so I couldn't turn the battery on. This was (and is) very frustrating because one of my reasons for buying the 3.0 was that I could use my old battery from the 1.0 as a backup. (They're supposed to be interchangeable.) But I *_can't,_* because *it won't fit.* 😡 I think it's a manufacturing irregularity with my 3.0 because the old battery from the 1.0 would fit into the old 1.0 just fine. I ended up giving the old bike (and battery) away, so now if I want a backup battery, I'm gonna have to cough up 300 bucks for a new one, and *_hope_* that it fits! 😠 Also, I can't get the 3.0 to go over 18 mph on throttle only. ☹
@@Milesco I agree with you about the quality control. Just got mine. Battery does not fit, so it doesn't work. Lectric is sending a new controller plate that should work, if not I have to put shims in it. Not too happy with this purchase.

Nice review. I started my ebike experience a year and a half ago. What I did was purchase an ebike conversion kit and changed my 12 year old Schwinn to an ebike. Invested about $600 to do it. It really educated me on what's important on an ebike. I sold it due to the fact I wanted hydraulic and or mechanical disc brakes, rear tail light, etc. Today , I own a 26" step through at 17.5 AH battery and 1,000 watts at my home in Ohio. Just ordered a 20" fold-able ebike with a 16AH battery and 800 watt motor for my home in Florida. I have a lot of folks approach me on my ebike. The number one question. How fast does it go? That's all relative to rider weight. I'm 230lbs so I tell folks at a minimum a 750 watt motor and minimum 14AH battery. Like a swimming pool, bigger is better when it comes too battery and wattage.
Rider weight or rider cross section will determine wh/mi, depending on whether it's low speed or high speed travel, and the distance. Weight is the primary factor if you're gunning it from one stop light to the next. But if you have an long uncontested trip at speed, it's going to be all about wind resistance and weight doesn't really factor into it. In most cases it doesn't matter as cross section and weight have a strong correlation.
this goes out to all lectric owners. before you think you need new brake pads. dont change them, because you most likely dont need to. all you got to do is loosen up the main two bolts that hold the brakes to the chassy. then run the back brake pad all the way in. the chrome hex drive. then tighten up the two bolts again. and loosen up your brake cable at the brake caliper and pull that lever to get front brake pad close to rotor. it worked for me. i will need brakes sooner or later. and so will you.
Ordered 2 XP 3.0 for my wife and me and have put over 100 miles on them. We love them and and feel like a couple of kids exploring the local area. We look forward to taking them on our next cross country trip.
Thanks for the great video. I can't wait for accuracy video especially the passenger kit. If all accessories are complete with xp 2.0, I think passenger kit should work as well. Just keep it for kids under 70 pounds.
Hi brother I just got XP 3.0 1/6 /23 delivered today I'm charging my battery right now and hopefully in the next couple hours I can go for a cruise I will get back on and let you guys know how it went God bless have a great day
I noticed you were able to reach 20 mph on throttle. I have 3 friends who have recently purchased a new XP 3.0, December 2022, none of their bikes will do the advertised 20 mph on throttle, 18 mph seems to be their max speed. Probably not a problem for most. But I do like to rub it in with them. I have an XP 2.0 the 3.0 will out accelerate me on throttle only but as soon as they stop accelerating I run away from them. Both still fun bikes. 😜
Excellent review!! You answered all my questions except one, is this good off road on dirt trails? I live in the mountains and would like to take it off road. I'm talking about easy off road trails, not anything crazy.
This is really a great initial review of the 3.0! No doubt, it is a great machine. We just bought large E-Lux das boats. So, I am sure we will occasionally regret that! I have test rode the Lectrics at their plant in AZ. I really liked them! Since we live in the mountains of CO, we wanted the bigger battery and motor. And, my wife wanted a cruiser geometry due to her wrists. But…I really like this! Is it too opulent to have a second ebike?? Hehehe Thank you for your videos!
I have the 2.0, fun bike to ride. But my main complaint is that I want hydraulic brakes. After my lectric 1.0 died, I brought a Aventon Level commuter ebike, wonderful machine. I also got a discount for the Lectric xp 2.0 after I notified them about my 1.0 breaking so now I have 2 ebikes. I have to say that on paved roads, the Aventon is better and faster. But on rougher terrain, the Lectric xp 2.0 is better if not more fun to ride. I also upgraded the brakes to hydraulic (installed Tektro e350's, it stops on the dime and no maintenance needed except for changing worn brake pads).
I have the 2.0 I like it, but it's heavy to me, but I'm getting use to that part. I drive a Hybrid so I don't have much trunk space so folded up in the back seat it goes. If your on the fence, get it
I'm considering this one. I have the lite, but I don't like it because the single gear is just too limiting. I find myself just using the throttle almost all of the time.
Excellent review. Answered all of the questions that I had before purchasing. I ordered the black extended range today because of Your input. Can't wait until it gets here and will let you know. I live in Colorado and look forward to seeing how it handles out here. Obviously not steep mountains but some of the hills. Again thank you.
I have a 2.0 one of the first. I have customized it for me. To try to get better mileage. Unfortunately I am 6.4" and 220. 74 years old. I am saving my money and hoping you will soon have a recumbent version soon.😢
The quality of this bike and the amount of bike you get for the price is very impressive! My only negative against purchasing one is the limited color options. I wish they had red or blue or some different color options than just white or black. Great review and your videos are extremely comprehensive!! Great job!

I have this bike, just got it and I would agree with the review. It is a well-built bike and rides great. The only negatives I can think of are the location of the key is really inconvenient to turn the bike on and off and the lack of color options.
Nice review. Thanks. Minor suggestion...Please speak a bit slower - it seemed during the "walk-around" introduction to the bike that the pace was fast.
Suggestion taken. When I am nervous... i.e. filming.... I talk very quickly. I will slow things down in the future. Thank you for the constructive criticism. -JT
About to pull the trigger on the 3.0 extended range. Great video and I will for sure use your affiliate link to their site. I like you honest opinion about the 3.0. I mean nothing bad. I can see how it responds to hills and how much effort it takes to tame them. I think the 3.0 step through extended range is what I need. I'm usually a black or gray guy but I think I may order white as a fresh start to spending more time outside and a lighter feel. =) I have a mid drive HP Velotechnik Scorpion with a Bafang 750w and a huge battery. Like $9000 if you buy one now, that God I only have 1/2 of that in mine. I need something I can just strap my lunch to the back and take off for work. Love the Lectric 3.0. Thanks again for the great in depth review.
I also have a recumbent with the Bafang 750W mid-drive, but I'm seriously considering getting the 3.0 ER for my 18 mile (one-way), pre-dawn commute to work. My Bacchetta is fun, but it's just not practical for commuting because there's no place to carry my work gear, plus a change of cloths. The 3.0 looks like just the thing for that purpose. - Great write up/review on the bike. It makes my decision much easier.
This is probably the only brand that I would buy. But I am 77 years old and I'm only about 4 ft 10 in. Of course, my license is still good for motorcycles from back in the seventies sometime and of course, in my head I am only 16. I own a liberty trike which is nice and stable but way too slow and too wide especially on a bike track. Any suggestions?
For the money, Lectric has once again hit it out of the park, so to speak. However, that being said, I would like to see them do a better job of integrating the wiring into the frame, going with at least a Shimano Altus derailleur and trigger shifters instead of the horrible SIS system. I prefer a thumb throttle for safety reasons and they could easily do that as well. I know what I am suggesting would up the price, but if they can do those things and bring it in under $1300, they will sell a ton.
Hi Robert, I too would like to see Altus. Wiring I'm not sure what more they can do outside of changing it to a different kind of battery. I imagine wanting to keep things cross-compatible is why they continued down this path.
@@EbikeEscape thanks for replying to my question. I really appreciate it. Keep the videos coming . They are very helpful and easy to understand and follow . Just wish Lectric would offer more colors on their electric bikes. But they are Great bikes for the money and big value for those with limited income. Thanks 🙏
I like some of the features of this bike vs its competitors, but I have serious concerns about the placement of that battery key, and the fact that it must remain in for the bike to operate. I don't see how it wouldn't get caked with grime and eventually fail - when you need it. Or have the key snap off from some road hazard. While I wasn't expecting it to be a mountain bike, but given that key placement, I would not take this off road at all, so I don't get why they have 3" knobby tires vs something narrower that is more road suitable, and easier to replace/upgrade.
Awesome video. very informative. Is this E-bike capable on the beach? Will you be doing a video to showcase that? Sorry for the newb questions still learning.
It's all going to depend on the type of sand. If you're riding on hard/semi wet sand you will be good to go. The super soft stuff is almost impossible on any ebike unless it is AWD.
long range vs standard for casual riding, parks, trails neighbor hoods. I was looking at the long range. i would charge it less and I guess more power for throttle only hills,
The battery setup is almost the same. There appears to be a slight difference in the connection, but a 2.0 battery can fit into a 3.0 frame with minimal issue. The charger is still a 2amp charger. With the battery being in the frame, it is a touch more difficult to remove than an externally mounted battery. But the battery can be charged on the bike, so it doesn't need to be removed all the time.
really like the review...but as a professional announcer, may I offer some constructive advice to the way to speak...? Try not to end almost every sentence on an upswing of your voice, it almost sounds like every other spoken sentence is a question, when more often than not it isn't. Just speak like you normally would and you sound great. It's hard not to get into "announcer mode"...but it really does sound better more naturally spoken. I don't mean this in a mean way, because it is clear you did your research before you made the video and I appreciate all of that effort!
Absolutely no offense taken. You learn so much about sentence structure and such when you edit yourself talking. I really appreciate your constructive criticism. It will definitely help me get better. -JT
@@rolandledesma7753 it’s in the Southeast US, as well. It’s going nowhere any time soon. Also, to be fair, I’m sure relating to one’s vocal pattern has value, too.
Are these a good city commuter bike? I’m torn because I do want to take my bike on some gravel but mostly for city streets and not sure if I should get a more city ebike with bigger wheels instead.
Great in the city and rural and gravel use It's the third best EV selling model in the US just behind the Tesla Model 3 and model Y Lots of deliveries services are using them in big and small cities..
The top speed you are suggesting is going to be the problem. More battery will be used up at those higher speeds. Also you will need a class 3 ebike as a class 2 will stop providing power past 20mph. A Lectric XP 3.0, Aventon Sinch, and Denago Folding 1 are are top folding ebikes we recommend. And are all capable of 20-25mph and that range you are asking for.
Lower center section. Meaning it has a lower step over height. We prefer the step-though frames for long term accessability. But some prefer them frame of the high step. No difference other then that.
Thanks for the video. I'm interested in the XP 3.0 Step-Through and I know the pedals are lower than the Step-Over. Have you had any issues with the pedal scrapping the ground on turns? If so, does it make you lose control of the bike? Can you tell me the distance (inches) between the low pedal and the ground?

I live on a gravel road and do not have a choice to avoid using the route without loading up the bike to get to a tarred bike path. I am willing to load bike if truly needed. Any thoughts on the performance on short term use on gravel?
This was a very nice in-depth look at this upgraded model of the LECTRIC XP ebike. What phone app were you using to compare the bike's speed with the GPS speed?
please make a video comparing whether or not to buy the step over or high step frame .....is there a weight difference? is there an advnatage off road of one or the other .....etc
As a 77 year old with both hips replaced and speaking for many fellow not as young as we used to be riders (smile), the step through is the only way to get on and off the bike safely.
Weight difference isn't going to be significant. I personally have never felt "frame flex" but some will say it is an issue. For most people you should just buy what's most comfortable to get on and off.
@@EbikeEscape In one review I saw, it was said that with the high step, you could adjust the seat higher than you could on the step through. In your experience with these bikes, have you noticed a difference?
I know that this comment is a bit off topic but given that you have a lot of experience with the Radwagon 4 I was hoping you could answer a question for me. Do you know if Surly's maloko handlebar would fit the Radwagon. I am looking for a handlebar with more space to fit gadgets, lights etc. and the maloko seems to tick all the boxes. A new video idea maybe 😁
I have had a long-range Lectric 3.0 for 2 months, but I've only taken it out for a test ride for about 2 weeks b/c of the cold weather. Overall, I'm delighted with its performance except for the fact that the battery only lasted shorter than expected as the battery ran out after I made 29 miles combined only by using both throttle and PAS.What can I do to help the battery last longer to more than 40 miles per charge as mentioned by the manufacturer and Lectric company? Thanks
I see the creator already mentioned temperature can affect battery performance but something to keep in mind with these ebike companies is that whatever they say for range it's probably going to be about 60% of that number if you're somewhat frugal with throttle. Another thing is weight. Typically even if they tell you specs of how they tested the range(like Lectric does do)it's done with a very light person. 150lbs at most is what I've noticed. So say you weigh 180 like I do that's a big difference. Then you might have a pannier, crate, backpack with stuff in it etc and it adds up. Also, I hope you took your battery inside(like not left in the cold garage)this winter. That can affect overall life performance as well possibly.
Always use two locks on your bike...1. Lock the tire 2, use another lock to a pole or a chair......if you don't use two it will be stolen., also install a ipod locator, so you can find it... get renters insurance which will cover thief....... I've had two electric bike stolen from a coffee shop🤐
What is the difference between step through ? And original? Also is the bike upgradable let’s say I get standard bike then later buy long range battery can I do that?
Lower step over height. Which means the battery is slightly different sized/shape. Yes the battery is upgradable in the future. Just make sure you buy the correct battery for your frame.
@Untetjered What kind of lock did you use when it got stolen and what do you use now? It would be good to know what people are using for ebikes and what's ineffective if I get one.
I am about to buy my first ebike, but can decide between the Core-5 and the XP 3.0. The XP 3.0 is 1116$ with a bike lock, pair of mirrors, phone mount, rear rack, 2 pannier bags. While the Core-5 is 1179$ with everything except the mirrors and the bike lock. What would you recommend?
My recommendation is to decide what frame style you want and let that lead your decision - they are pretty different. Core-5 is a more normal geometry bike and the Lectric is more upright.
A little bit like the iphone very small changes from one ebike to the next one up..can't use certain battery cause of battery shape or battery connection..rather than give customer a bigger battery and bigger controller and more power ..or few more bells and whistle...just like the iphone ..thats why I stick with android..you can ad most things to them with out being controlled to one platform..
Any advice on a good lock for this bike? I am thinking of getting one and not leaving outside obviously but for times when I'm having to park it in town to do short errands I want something that isn't too hard to carry and not easy to break and steal.
Kryptonite, ABUS or Seatylock all make some great locks. Seatylock has some easy to carry options (my personal favorite is their Foldylock, compact and attached to my bike). ABUS's Alarmbox 2.0 is also one of our favorite current locks (it is a chain and alarm lock all rolled into one). -Foldylock: amzn.to/3WFNKWR (affiliate link) -ABUS Alarmbox 2.0 (cable version): amzn.to/3Uwj34E (affiliate link) One thing missing from these recommendations is knowledge of your location. Consider your location before deciding how high security of a lock you might need. The above companies offer so many locks that you should easily be able to find a lock that fits exactly what you are looking for.
@@EbikeEscape do you know if these areas on the bike are made out of solid metal or just hollow? I feel like they would be hollow and someone could saw through them with little effort without compromising the integrity of the bike at all.
While trying to figure out how to turn the lights on, I didn't know how to do it so I tried holding the - button and the bike moved. Umm,,,,not sure why
Which one would you say is better, this or the radrover 6.0 plus? I got the 6.0 on their halloween deal so it's about the same price vs the Lectric long range battery. I still have time to return and I'm considering it. Mainly using this around the city with lots of hills and riding in the rain.
The best ebike, IMHO, is the one you can currently ride. The 3.0 is an awesome bike, but so is the 6+. I don't think either takes the edge for city or hilly riding. If you need the folding functionality then the 3.0 is the better option. But if you are looking for a reliable transportation for just around town, the Rover 6+ you picked up is a great option. I hope my input helped squash some of those post-purchase worries. You made a good choice. -JT
Do you find the 3.0 is a bit bigger than the 2.0 because of the higher front forks/suspension? Asking because I am on the shorter side and thinking the front bars might be a bit further or higher? That would not be an improvement for me.
I actually didn't find it to fit any different then the 2.0. I need to finely measure the step over height and handlebar length. But overall I found the fit similar to the 2.0.
So will the 3.0 drain the battery faster because it has more power? I have a 2.0 but might order a 3.0 just for the gearing. But I don't want to lose any range
We have not done our own range testing, yet. But Lectric claims the same range on the 3.0 as the 2.0. So I don't think you will notice that much of a drop.
I think that is going to depend on your inseam. I know Lectric has a really nice height chart on their website. If that doesn't work, Lectric has some of the best Customer Service lines we have seen, so give them a call. Just make sure to tell them we sent you 😉

We look forward to taking them on our next cross country trip.
did you ever try walking?
Just purchased two, can't wait to see how they ride.
How do you like them after a year?
The freewheel is a huge upgrade!!!.. They should of give us more colors..orange,green,red, yellow would be nice..
You can upgrade the gears to freewheel the 2.0XP
Awesome exhibition of the 3.o lectric..just bought one. They put tanner liner in the wheels. Can't wait to RIDE😂.
Thanks for the review. Waiting for mine in black .
Thanks for the great video. I can't wait for accuracy video especially the passenger kit. If all accessories are complete with xp 2.0, I think passenger kit should work as well. Just keep it for kids under 70 pounds.
I'm 180 and the wife's 120 so, we're under the bike's max load... It's going to be interesting seeing how well it handles the max weight though.
Thanks for the video. I used your link when I purchased my XP 3.0 yesterday. Cheers!
Thank you! Enjoy the 3.0
I found this to be very helpful and answered several questions I had about my newly purchased Lectric
Glad it was helpful!
Dang wish I seen your video before I bout my new 3.0s for both the wife and I. But I’ll keep this channel for future info! Keep up the great content!
Hi brother
I just got XP 3.0 1/6 /23 delivered today I'm charging my battery right now and hopefully in the next couple hours I can go for a cruise I will get back on and let you guys know how it went God bless have a great day
Hope it as a safe ride, and you enjoyed it!
I'm so glad I waited for a e-bike. This is going to be perfect for me. Living in hilly and busy streets, regular biking is no fun.
I think this might be due to the wheel sizing being off. Try setting that a bit higher. Might get you those extra 2mph, haha.
@@EbikeEscape maybe but my XP2.0 still says 20mph when I pull away from my friends XP3.0
Excellent review!! You answered all my questions except one, is this good off road on dirt trails? I live in the mountains and would like to take it off road. I'm talking about easy off road trails, not anything crazy.
The 3" tires, are pretty good at providing a decent amount of grip. And will make it capable of some milder off road trails, easily.
Hehehe
Thank you for your videos!
As someone who owns multiple ebikes,,,,We do not think so.
I have three...don't worry be happy!
The 3.0 would be the next step up. We love our 3.0.
I just ordered the same bike on Monday, arriving tomorrow here in Milwaukee. More than excited!
@@jgs614 I've now had it for over a month and use it almost every day. So far it has been great and I bought a step through for my girlfriend.
Very informative. Can’t wait for mine to arrive. Thanks
Great job!
Maybe that will be in the future. I know overall having fewer variations is an easy way to keep the price down a bit. -JT
Agreed! And if you get one of these don't forget to wear an nta helmet like xnito or bern hudson while riding, cpsc helmets don't really protect you
@@johnw65 It's amazing that I never wore any helmet back when America was Great and riding a bicycle was safe without drunk drivers, homeless felons and illegal aliens prowling around taxpaying, law abidng Americans living in a (then) first World Judeo-Christian country. Not any more...
@@johnw65 People don't wear helmets in Costa Rica either (a fair amount of time)...why? Because 99.9% of the people on the road follow Judeo-Christian principles of The Golden Rule and are responsible for their actions and consider "others" better than themselves.

I have this bike, just got it and I would agree with the review. It is a well-built bike and rides great. The only negatives I can think of are the location of the key is really inconvenient to turn the bike on and off and the lack of color options.
I take sharpies/paint pens to my bikes and do a custom skins

Great write up/review on the bike. It makes my decision much easier.
Great video. GPS and Cell service are not related. Your GPS lag time is the device. Gps is actually better in the country.
What were you filming the video with? The high rez quality is great! Makes for a much better experience watching.
All on a GoPro Hero 10. The tech on these small cameras has come a long way.
Why did you cut the last section of the hill climb section? It appeared the bike might be starting to struggle.
Great review you are good at this!
Thanks!
One upgrade i immediately did i tried to get a 11-34 freewheel. When the battery dies the 65 lb. Uphill battle begins. I am 6.4" 220lb. And 74.
Thank you for all your reviews. So helpful.
18:35 great idea using a tote.. 45 gal tote is a good ball park of what ur using
50 gallon I think is a bit closer. But we have seen some people use 45 gallon totes with minimal modification.
i used your link and bought one. great review.
Awesome, thank you!
I found the video very informative. My only concern is with the key hanging down, Can it fall out and be lost?
Does the XP 3.0 comes with hydraulic brakes and 180mm rotors?
It does now. They just recently updated it.
Got it Thank you
Excellent review, thanks!
is the high step any more rigid than the step thru? Don't love how flimsy my xpremium is and surprised no reviewers mention it.
That's good to know Brian, I notice The 'Lectric community' avoids critical points...
...now if you'd just do a video on the Vitilan V3 that I'm also considering!
long range vs standard for casual riding, parks, trails neighbor hoods. I was looking at the long range. i would charge it less and I guess more power for throttle only hills,
What size tub is that?
Is the battery setup different at all? Is the charger faster? Taking out the battery was more complicated than other bikes.

Whatisthe weight of the 3.0 and how is the manouverability for parking, locking, putting on a bus?
Are these a good city commuter bike? I’m torn because I do want to take my bike on some gravel but mostly for city streets and not sure if I should get a more city ebike with bigger wheels instead.
Great in the city and rural and gravel use
It's the third best EV selling model in the US just behind the Tesla Model 3 and model Y

Definitely the best all purpose bike for mostly street some off roading.
Bike suggestion for 4 ft. 11 female? Need a fold up, go up to 20 miles and 25-30 mph. Thanks
Great video!!
Did i miss the section about range? One of the most important parts of the review...
Definitely buying tomorrow but before I do what’s the difference in the normal xp 3.0 vs the step through
Lower center section. Meaning it has a lower step over height. We prefer the step-though frames for long term accessability. But some prefer them frame of the high step.
No difference other then that.
so the step through would be better for shorter people? @@EbikeEscape
I have the Trike and it has 2,700 miles on it. I love the trike but thinking about purchasing the XP 3.0. I am 72 and have no disabilities, pretty active. Do you think the transition would be difficult for someone my age? Height.5'2 Weight 133
I live on a gravel road and do not have a choice to avoid using the route without loading up the bike to get to a tarred bike path. I am willing to load bike if truly needed. Any thoughts on the performance on short term use on gravel?
Should be ok as long as it isn't too loose gravel. Just have to be mindful of the terrain.
Where is a link to the Display video. I have the Lectic Premium.
excellent video, friend!
great review...thanks...
Did I miss it ? What is the range/charge on the 3.0 w/the long-range batt. ?
This was a very nice in-depth look at this upgraded model of the LECTRIC XP ebike. What phone app were you using to compare the bike's speed with the GPS speed?
Speedometer by Cool Niks
please make a video comparing whether or not to buy the step over or high step frame .....is there a weight difference? is there an advnatage off road of one or the other .....etc
As a 77 year old with both hips replaced and speaking for many fellow not as young as we used to be riders (smile), the step through is the only way to get on and off the bike safely.
The carrying handle on the step over is lower. That should give you more leverage when lifting it up to load it in the car or carry it up steps.
Sorry I do not. Good question for the forum: radowners.com
How is the low speed handling? Can I easily ride behind people who are walkng? Is it stable at low speed?
How does this bike do in beach sand?
I have had a long-range Lectric 3.0 for 2 months, but I've only taken it out for a test ride for about 2 weeks b/c of the cold weather. Overall, I'm delighted with its performance except for the fact that the battery only lasted shorter than expected as the battery ran out after I made 29 miles combined only by using both throttle and PAS.What can I do to help the battery last longer to more than 40 miles per charge as mentioned by the manufacturer and Lectric company? Thanks
How cold is it near you? The cold weather really impacts the batteries ability to perform.
Where's the display video?
Always use two locks on your bike...1. Lock the tire 2, use another lock to a pole or a chair......if you don't use two it will be stolen., also install a ipod locator, so you can find it... get renters insurance which will cover thief....... I've had two electric bike stolen from a coffee shop🤐
Sir, may I ask for your recommendation on a double leg kickstand for the Lectric XP 3.0 StepThru. thank you very much!

@@EbikeEscape awesome 😎 just ordered xp 3.0
I had a 2.0, got stolen, so I replaced with Xpremium. Love it. Almost glad my 2.0 got stolen.

That would suck no matter what
🤡
@@EbikeEscape I haven't used a bike since I was 8 years old, I'm 25 now, so to be honest with you I don't know what what the difference is.
The Core-5 might be a bit more approachable. While the Lectric is a bit different design to aid with its portability.
Where are you guys located in Wisconsin?
Getting better but they need to change colors. Like green and desert sand red and purple.
Lectric offers fewer colors to keep the cost down. I am not sure if they will be offering other color options in the future.
Thats why i went with rattan i love green. After ridding it. I love it very powerful.
-Foldylock: amzn.to/3WFNKWR (affiliate link)
-ABUS Alarmbox 2.0 (cable version): amzn.to/3Uwj34E (affiliate link)
One thing missing from these recommendations is knowledge of your location. Consider your location before deciding how high security of a lock you might need. The above companies offer so many locks that you should easily be able to find a lock that fits exactly what you are looking for.
@@EbikeEscape Thank you. Also what part of the bike do you lock the lock to along with a fixed object given these have weird frames?
On this bike there are a couple of options. The rear rack is welded on, and there is also that nice “handle” on the step-Thru frames.
@@EbikeEscape do you know if these areas on the bike are made out of solid metal or just hollow? I feel like they would be hollow and someone could saw through them with little effort without compromising the integrity of the bike at all.
Every bike is hollow. Solid metal bikes would weigh entirely to much. Also if a thief was going to cut anything they are going to cut your lock.
does the key stay lockin in while riding
Yes
they do have a small convert that allows 2.0/3.0 batteries to mingle
While trying to figure out how to turn the lights on, I didn't know how to do it so I tried holding the - button and the bike moved. Umm,,,,not sure why
That's walk mode

What speedometer app do you use for your phone?
Speedometer App by Cool Niks. On an Android phone
How would you determine if you need a long range battery? I want to buy the bike but not sure if I should get the long range.
How long of rides do you plan on going on?
Can.you charge the battery without removing it ?
Yes!
Can you get 20 MPH on throttle only from any PAS level?
Hotdogs this compare to the Aveton 20 inch x 4inch Sinch 1:43 bike
I like the XP 3.0 for the hydraulic disc brakes but the Sinch has a torque sensor.
Doesn’t it seem problematic that the key is on the bottom of the bike and has to be inserted when using the bike?
Does it drain the battery if the key is left on but the screen is off?
I always store mine with the key on/screen off and have never experienced any degradation.
Great video sounds. E bike ride. Motor bike ride 👍
That sux, i would have gotten this one instead. The problem with improving on upgrades means you might miss out.
