I found 2 cut washers in my house that fit exactly at the bottom of the handle clamp. To my surprise vibrations reduced a lot. I will try fixing on the top as well. Hope it will reduce further. Thanks for sharing.
If u really want to reduce vibration at handle bar my suggestion would be add a tyre tube piece from puncture shop u will get it for free in between the C clamp and handle bar rod and tighten is with spring washer for all four bolts
I would advise, having done it on my Classic EFI-500 that after running the engine in properly to 1000km that you start using more revs through the gears so that the engine loosens up further By 2000km the engine should have loosened up and be able to rev over 5000rpm without excessive vibration. It will also produce more power and run more smoothly at the bottom end. Once it has been run in, use more revs to further bed the engine in.
Good stuff..welding a rod is effective but using the extra bar end weights will only increase the vibration.. for example attach a 50-100gm bolt to a rod n see at the ends of it..it vibrates unnecessarily, try to use only 1 bar end & feel d change.
Simplydmax ...weld rod like RD350 and no counter weight worked for me 😊....I prefer damping the source of vibration by adding about 30+30+30 mls to the engine before next service
Not a fan of the pencil thin handgrips on my Enfield, I found a pair of thicker, much heavier grips. They were advertised as "The most comfortable grips for your bike" and they made a HUGE difference.. I believe they were made by Kuryakyn.
How did you filled the handlebar with steel balls . Did you drill the handle. Please let me know what you did to fill the steel balls in handlebar. A reply in this regard will be helpful. I am also planning to do the same.
well, I had lot of hopes with Himalayan, but it also had quality issues :( I was reading a joke: instead of buying the RE bike, you should have invested in their shares, we would have been super rich by now ;)
I made changes as said in your video 1. Tightened the mounting bolts 2. Extra Bar end weights 3. Filled handle bar with sand and bearings after doing these the vibrations were minimised to maximum extent but when I welded a SS rod to the handle vibrations have come back ...later realised that I welded a hollow one..do you think thisis the reason for the vibrations to come back ?? Should I be using only a solid iron rod or even a solid SS rod works ?? Now I want to use MSeal instead of sand ..how to push it into Handle Bar ?? Im planning to have rubber washers for the mounting bolts..where can I get them and what would be the size I need to ask them Thanks, Naveen
+Naveen M I'm amazed you tried so many things already!! Great stuff :/ Go for a solid rod, not hollow. Solid SS will also work... Pushing mseal inside is time consuming, here's the trick.. get a small hole done under the c clamp.. start stuffing mseal from there.. it will take time, but is effective.. leave it to dry for 4-5 hrs or overnite... Any hardware shop will help u rubber washers... Go for the same size as that of the cut washers... Let me know if you face any issues
+Naveen M oh, that's strange... The vibs must have reduced after welding the rod... The only thing I can think of is... Get the handle refixed again... Get it tightened one more time
@bulltetism unlimited After how many kilometers shall we change this engine oil..My bullet runs for around 500 kms a month. Or shall we change this engine oil per servicing??
1. did u welded rod or hollow pipe across the handle bar? 2. how much quantity ball bearing required to fill the handilbar inside? would u plz upload video while a running the RE the we can analyse how much effective your ideas.. thakz to share tipz...
+ABHI NAND.A.M 1. Rod is solid iron, not hollow 2. Around 5 packets 3. I'm waiting for my action cam to arrive from US, i promise I'll make a video while running to show the reduction in vibrations.. Thanks for watching!!
Bulletism Unlimited Sorry, any rod hollow or pipe will work since it balance the vibration at left and right grip ends technically with an effect of reduced vibration. Don't worry. All motorcycles create vibration at handlebar after a certain speed. My Pulsar is also vibrate above 70. My RE classic 350 vibrate slowly from 55-60 then goes smooth from 60-70 and again starts vibrating from 80 onwards. It is a cruiser vehicle not meant for racing. People have ambition to buy RE but couldn't due to fear factor 1.Don't want to spend high price 2.Want to buy high fuel economy bike 3.Fear to drive a heavy bike like RE will always complain against RE out of frustration.
Hey, till Wat speed can u reach without feeling much vibration? instead of welding a rod in the middle of the handle bar can change the handle bar to a cross shaped or a straight handle bar which gives more handling too? correct me if I am wrong
Hi bro, hope using synthetic oil you can increase the oil change interval, could you please tell me how many kms. I must change oil in my classic 350 . Thanks, shaji.
+Shaji K.Damodaran not much difference in interval change I noticed.. Change it every 3500 or max 4000 kms... Keep checking every 1000kms, sometimes the level can drop based on your riding style too..
Hi bulleteirs This is Sathish from Chennai. I going to buy a classic 350 for the first time. Suggest me is new gun metal grey matte finish is good or bad. Wether the colour is easy maintenance or tough
+karuppa swamy those metal balls u can get them at any hardware store.. u need to cut a small hole at the bottom of the handle, maybe 50p size. The hole has to be near the c clamp, where u tighten the handle.
Charan Reddy don't waste money on synthetic oil, first of all there is no fully synthetic oil it's mixed with regular oil, in balanced proportion. Secondly synthetic oil should be only used for recommended engines prescribed by the company RE regular motorbikes doesn't come under that category , thirdly synthetic oil should be used where there is extreme climate .
+allwin samuel a heavy handlebar is a good option too... I did not use it bcos I like keeping it stock.. It's not a rpm meter, it's a handlebar clock, see my first video labelled B1U1
+allwin samuel heavy handlebar is a good option too.. it also reduces the vibrations.. It's a clock, not rpm meter... See my first video about the review on it ;)
mahn...thanks a lot .i have tried and it helps a lot.keep making these like videos, they help a lot i think about 70% of vibration are reduced right now once again thanks for this video keep it going, may god bless you
There is 5 things to do to Reduce vibes! Grips is the last on the list... 1. Oil, fresh, change afrer 5000km, after that oil loses its properties...so. Yeah. Fresh oil Really helps! 2. Rubber foot peg mod 3. Rubber on fuel tank, so vibes dont transfer. 4. 2t oil added to fuel in 500:1 ratio, works as upper cylinder lube, use TCW3 oil. 5. Grips...and barkBusters against the wind! There are 3 more things to do but who cares
+Kurian Cherian there is no harm as such... But I won't recommend it on a new engine.. finsih off the initial running in period, probably, after first service, when you have to change the oil, go for 300v
+Arun suryan dilwara I think the front brakes work fine most of the times... What's the exact issue? Do u think they are very effective? Or some other user
You are just unnecessarily making the bike heavier, vibrations are a part of the engine, u need to use vibration dampers like rubber and other material and stop the vibration from spreading. Second thing if u ride the bike at certain speed u will notice that there r no vibrations which makes the first three mins of the video about using the right oil and the cruising funda real
+Sandeep Thakur vibrations are a part, I agree. I tried using rubber to dampen the vibrations, but it was of little help... And getting the right rubber is a challenge, no one wants to give u piece of rubber for retail purpose.. You know which rubber I mean here ;)

Now coming back to rubbers u will need to fabricate the same as they r not a part of the oem market, same can be done by purchasing appropriate type and the trying to get it fixed where ur engine is bolted also if u get more of the head rubbers which are already installed from the service centre it will even help drastically. Hope that helps
Honestly i dnt know is it a good thing or not..my classic vibrates from 60-65 but post 65 no vibratin till 100...now i changed to spring washer and it helped me to some extend
Hey brother nice video, I also wanna make this mod on my bike but I couldn't find steel balls any where in my place. If you could please help me out with the steel balls I will be more than happy 🙂
Dear riders.. no need of these much effort.. RE vibration automatically reduce by 40 % after 15k km ... also u can reduce vibration by using fully synthetic oil (motul will be good).. by since your machine vibration reduce to 80% .. any other extra efforts are goes waztttt.. good luck happy ridinG
S cruiser bikes have vibration but not likes the royal Enfield classic . The vibrations is like it will break the bones of the person who is riding the bike. It's not a worthy machine for rupees 1.7 lakhs on road price.
+sumit roy seat k niche springs hain, remove it and with basic alterations u can fix seat again. This will reduce height. Another option is use custom bucket seats.. one more option is cut the foam a bit..
Guess you have done Alot off study in reducing vibrations out of your RE....many should work in your favor. RE needs to upgrade the quality of material used in the engine, which is expensive in India and needs a reworked chasis. RE's R&D is lazy.
I also own a royal Enfield I have never felt vibration sometimes I ride it continuously for 10-12 hrs but never felt any vibrations. sab chonchley hai off vibrations... itna he vibrations feel hota hai toh dusra motorcycle kharid lo bekar mey lakh rupia kharcha karney ki Kya jaroorat hai
The Royal Enfield company is not at all worried about vibrations, they don't care about customer, then why are you worried and why should we buy Royal Enfield, there many brands now who care about their customers
full synthetic oil on an RE ?? dude seriously ?? you just described that this is a cruiser bike and it won't behave like a high revving sports bike, but you want to feed it an oil that's made for high revving engines ?? you should have tried the Motul5100 instead , it's a semi synthetic oil and works perfectly with an RE. have made the engine smooth for me. I suggest you please do some good research before advising fellow riders.
+shekhar tyagi for me the 300v has worked very well and that's why I recommend it to all other riders. The 5100 is also good no doubt.. In your next oil change, go for 300v. And, I only suggest stuff and I personally try.. not by just going with others words
Bulletism Unlimited yea but I think bullet should be equipped with atleast basic utilities it is a luxury of course and shauk badi chiz hai :) but it should have a proper fuel indicator and tubeless tyres these two features will really make it the king of bikes atleast in India :)
+Ajinkya Patil yaar Himalayan se bahut umeed thi mujhe... But they messed up the quality big time... I'm working on fuel indicator, rpm meter.. stay tuned for that... Tubeless tire costs 8k , but yes, doesn't come as stock from company...
Bulletism Unlimited sure buddy himalayan to majak hai xD ye apni existing bikes ko improve kia nai hai aur nai kharab bikes banate ja rahe hain :D my friend has a Himalayan and as an off road bike it is quite easily out run by other off roading bikes like duke and modified old model Yamaha and in one case by hero extreme sports
Bulletism Unlimited woi to bat hai na bhai aftermarket accessories royal Enfield ki koi bhi branded company nahi banati hai like alloy wheels they are not reliable and apne khud ka fuel indicator wagera lagaya to bike ki warranty shayad void ho sakti hai
I have genuinely never seen a RE Owner so sensible...thanks a lot for the advice
I found 2 cut washers in my house that fit exactly at the bottom of the handle clamp. To my surprise vibrations reduced a lot. I will try fixing on the top as well. Hope it will reduce further. Thanks for sharing.
+Jagadeesh Polepalli that's good to know... Keep experimenting! And keep sharing :)
If we use rubber wiser rubber will absorb vibration
If u really want to reduce vibration at handle bar my suggestion would be add a tyre tube piece from puncture shop u will get it for free in between the C clamp and handle bar rod and tighten is with spring washer for all four bolts
Bro after dng this is ur bike handle. Comfortable at 100kmph
Handle bar grip cover is also one option. Good video... Cheers keep them coming!!! Subscribed
+BULLET DIARIES

superb brother
right
BULLET DIARIES What's that?
All good tips - especially the engine bracket bolts! Many thanks.

My classic 350 is very smooth and I have changed it's silencer still it doesn't need anything extra stuff. And 80km/h is sufficient speed for me.
Bhai mai bhi silencor Indori lgwaya hu..... vibration kafi jyda ho ra...aur mileage bhi kam de ra

Thing i don't understand is,
U hav 2 do all this Stuff after paying 1,50,000 😬😬😬😬😬😬😬

Balaji Chandrasekaran bullet craze haha

not sure where Im going wrong

+Naveen M oh, that's strange... The vibs must have reduced after welding the rod... The only thing I can think of is... Get the handle refixed again... Get it tightened one more time
gosh it makes me laugh. thanks RE for making our guys mechanic. Its time for some steel balls.............
Dinesh Rao hahaha true
Sameer Bawa common dude u can't expect everyone to say ball bearings right
Astonjon D'Almeida may be I'm not complaining.
nice man, appreciate it, cut and short :)
@bulltetism unlimited After how many kilometers shall we change this engine oil..My bullet runs for around 500 kms a month.

Hi bulleteirs
This is Sathish from Chennai. I going to buy a classic 350 for the first time. Suggest me is new gun metal grey matte finish is good or bad. Wether the colour is easy maintenance or tough
+sathish kumar it's the best color for a classic right now... Requires no additional maintenance
it costs aroumd 11k extra from normal classic 350, for rear disc brake, but I couldn't find any difference in braking from earlier drum brakes
How did you fill the handle bar with that can post any video or can you send any tips , and where can I get that metal balls ,
+karuppa swamy those metal balls u can get them at any hardware store.. u need to cut a small hole at the bottom of the handle, maybe 50p size. The hole has to be near the c clamp, where u tighten the handle.
How you fitted extra handle or weight to the handle bar
from where you brought extension weights to your handle bar..
would you please share the product link!
its looks awesome.
+ABHI NAND.A.M you will get it at any bullet spares part store..
Bulletism Unlimited :
ok i will try to find it in nearby spare shop
would u please upload a video abut the extra weight fiten in the handlebar...
can i fix the genuine handle side weight on the existing one??
+ABHI NAND.A.M yes, you can fix extra weight on existing handlebar only
can the fully synthetic engine oil be used on Himalayan sir?
+Charan Reddy yes sir! Without any doubt!
Bulletism Unlimited thanks for ur reply sir! so 300 v can be used ryt?
+Charan Reddy yes, done worry, use it without fear... It's the best oil for any RE, even Himalayan!
Bulletism Unlimited thanks a lot sir!!

Dear friend I would like to interchange key slot with amp meter slot as key on rt side of dome is comfortable. Is it possible?
+Ashok Hallur I doubt if it's possible my friend...Requires lot of rewiring and adjustments
Hi..can u tell me where did u get that handlebar clock from...??
Please tell me about the vibration happens in hero meastro edge...

+Deva Raj it's the handlebar watch itself.. check my first video on fitment and other details
what if we use heavy cafe bike handlebar to reduce the vibration
and what rpm meter u using??
+allwin samuel a heavy handlebar is a good option too... I did not use it bcos I like keeping it stock..
It's not a rpm meter, it's a handlebar clock, see my first video labelled B1U1
+allwin samuel heavy handlebar is a good option too.. it also reduces the vibrations..
It's a clock, not rpm meter... See my first video about the review on it ;)
How to fill steel balls...?After mixing with araldite?
I am riding a lightning 535. Can i use 300v on cast iron engines?

@WJ Ok, this summer season i will make Ultimate video with all tips and tricks.
can I use the oil which u have suggested on a brand new bike ?
+Kurian Cherian there is no harm as such... But I won't recommend it on a new engine.. finsih off the initial running in period, probably, after first service, when you have to change the oil, go for 300v
Thanks mate for sharing ur opinion...appreciate it.
Dude tell me one thing, after doing these small changes will you able to ride it above 90kmph in stable ( specially the left hand bar)???
I have owned STD 350 u know very abt front brake problem give me some ideas to overcome that even service centre doesn't have a perfect solution
+Arun suryan dilwara I think the front brakes work fine most of the times... What's the exact issue? Do u think they are very effective? Or some other user
+Arun suryan dilwara *issue
Bulletism Unlimited it gets jammed after 500kms of service not a single tym..it reports on everytime
+Arun suryan dilwara get the brake pads checked.. show it to a local mechanic.. bullet has good front brakes...
You are just unnecessarily making the bike heavier, vibrations are a part of the engine, u need to use vibration dampers like rubber and other material and stop the vibration from spreading. You know which rubber I mean here ;)
Sandeep Thakur where to apply those rubbers, please guide
When the bike manufacturers make the product they try to make the best, however we try to screw it up. +Sandeep Thakur that's indeed a great suggestion.
Sandeep Thakur well said.... i love the vibrations actually.. its a part of my 500cc beast... i dont wanna kill the originality of my bike....
Honestly i dnt know is it a good thing or not..my classic vibrates from 60-65 but post 65 no vibratin till 100...now i changed to spring washer and it helped me to some extend

+Nikhil.a Nikkam how old is the bike, did you get the suspension checked? If it is fine, just go for a new seat foam...
Bulletism Unlimited 2 years old bike I thought of customizing the pillion seat
+Nikhil.a Nikkam u can go for a single seat with a back rest.. juts like the one in Thunderbird
Bulletism Unlimited no I want a solution for my back seat which is small and comfortable to sit
+Nikhil.a Nikkam not much that u can do... U have to take regular breaks while long distance riding...
Does any of your tricks, reduce the Mileage of your Bullet 350 ?

First change swingarm bush
Plastic bush replace to metal bush
Reduce some vibration
Handle bar name
+Ajith G it's the stock handle bar only
Guess you have done Alot off study in reducing vibrations out of your RE....many should work in your favor. RE needs to upgrade the quality of material used in the engine, which is expensive in India and needs a reworked chasis. RE's R&D is lazy.
+Alok Naik yes, true that... It's high time RE does something about it now...
My close relatives told me don't buy Royal Enfield, this bike has issues. I am happy and saving money from other brands
I also own a royal Enfield
I have never felt vibration
sometimes I ride it continuously for 10-12 hrs
but never felt any vibrations.
sab chonchley hai off vibrations... itna he vibrations feel hota hai toh dusra motorcycle kharid lo bekar mey lakh rupia kharcha karney ki Kya jaroorat hai
The Royal Enfield company is not at all worried about vibrations, they don't care about customer, then why are you worried and why should we buy Royal Enfield, there many brands now who care about their customers
Bro uplode running video
+swagath G yes, very soon bro... For my action camera setup ready... Will make a video very soon
kya baat...
why would you even buy this vibrator in the first place?
Bharath Balan ....Beta tere lie hero Honda cd100 bana hua hai.
Ye badon ki bike hai. Bachhon ke lie nahin..grow up first
Pratap Misra oh. having more cc == better bike?

What did you do... Pls share with us also
main iske upar ek video banake share karunga
full synthetic oil on an RE ?? dude seriously ?? you just described that this is a cruiser bike and it won't behave like a high revving sports bike, but you want to feed it an oil that's made for high revving engines ?? you should have tried the Motul5100 instead , it's a semi synthetic oil and works perfectly with an RE. have made the engine smooth for me. I suggest you please do some good research before advising fellow riders.
+shekhar tyagi for me the 300v has worked very well and that's why I recommend it to all other riders. The 5100 is also good no doubt..
In your next oil change, go for 300v.
And, I only suggest stuff and I personally try.. not by just going with others words
no need for 300v in a old type engine like this in r.e. full synthetic did not even exist when this engine is created
choose RE CL500 forgot vibration
+ZEESHAN AKHTAR yes, the 500 has less vibs compared to 350
500CC Top speed whitout Vibration ?
+ZEESHAN AKHTAR you are asking me? I don't know.. haven't tested it .. I have 350
mera sawal hai 500CC kitni speed pr vibrate hoti hai
+ZEESHAN AKHTAR I think 80 -90 k Baad vibs shuru hote hain...
subscribed - good one friend...
+Raghav Gajendra thanks for watching!
bullet ain't a cruiser bro its a street bike the only cruiser in RE is thunderbird
+Ajinkya Patil you are right.i was trying to say it's not a sports bike... I'll try editing the video.. thanks
