Hello from England...great video. When checking the nut /bolt tightness I noticed the lower (smaller) bolts at the front of the engine, attaching engine to frame could be tightened around a quarter of a turn, however the maker's assembly pen type marks are still lined up perfectly. You referred the the larger bolts above these, as ones that needed checking. Should the smaller ones I have referred to also be fully tightened? Many thanks!
I have watched a dozen videos on maintenance none as clear and informative as this video. Kudos to you sam. I have added the video to Fav for future reference
Thanks for the tips. It's great to see somebody who truly knows and loves bikes. So many people run around on death traps these days. I got banned from the RE UK owners Facebook page for pointing out a few safety issues. People got very shirty because they have no idea how bikes work and behave. I was abused and berated by morons who think road safety is optional.
One of the best Maintenance Video I have watched about RE, Good job Sam, I saved your video, to maintain my bike as per your instructions, but I opened up this video to know how to adjust Rear Suspension to soften it, which I think you have missed out, maybe You can explain later, Thank You! Peace.. Joy Riding..
I've seen many videos. This is the best I have seen so far. Very clear, even for a mechanical novice like me. I shall apply all of this to my new Royal Enfield. Thank you!!
Hello H Sam, i have royal enfield standard 350. I have a small question regarding chainset. chain snail adjuster of both the sides of my bike are at different notch. still my bike works fine and chainset is also in good condition can you explain why?
Rohit Sonawane as long as the rear wheel is correctly alligned with the frame and front wheel (when stright) the bike should run fine. As the chain gets older, it stretches hence you may need adjust each side slightly differently.
Good video. Is that a side stand indicator I see installed on your bike ? Does come with the stock bike or is it aftermarket ? Any links for that thingy?
highly informative , great job sam. does changing silencer would effect the engine?if not, when can one change the silencer (ex; at 5000km or more)and which silencer r u using?
Vinay reddy thanks. Using Megaphone Muffler (Silencer). Installing muffler won't affect engine at all. Megaphone Muffler increase performance slightly. However please don't install cheap ones as the often rust and damage the frame of the bike.
bro I bought classic 350 a month ago. But the engine is not clean, even after I cleaned with shampoo and toothpaste. What could be done to solve this bro?
Stupid bike old rusted technical bike in USA royal Enfield is giving more advance bike and fully loaded more stylish being a American let me inform you it is the one of the week bike in usa
