Nice one Chris! Looks like a good spot for some bush camping. A comprehensive look at what the park has to offer. Great capture with the kookaburra munching in to some tucker 😀 Well done on a great video.
Hey Chris, this was a comprehensive review and will be so helpful to anyone planning a visit. This camping area seemed very relaxing with all of the noise restrictions, and floating down the creek looked like so much fun 😁
I'll have to take a floaty next time and have a go down the river myself...lol. It was a very quiet place and would be great if you liked bush camping 😁👍
It was cool seeing the Timelapse of you setting up your campsite. I always enjoy seeing how different people approach camping. What do you use your ensuite for? Shower, toilet or just for changing?
We have had a few different camping set ups over the years. I do like the time lapse video too, but I guess we can't film it all the time - Would get a bit boring...LOL. That why I narrate the value and information with it and make it more entertaining - I hope it worked HAHA. The ensuite is our shower and I like using it better than the camp showers or having to wait in line ( or ay for it). Funny that I actually did get a video of our shower set up and Matt turning it on, but forget I had it before finishing the video and was too late to put it in..... Maybe I could use it for the next one. Having a change room is always helpful too, especially since that doesn't work well in the swag Thanks for stopping by again Matt - Really appreciate it :)
@@AquariusTraveller Thanks for the speedy reply as always. :-) I am considering also attaching an ensuite to my Landcruiser and using it as a shower but I keep thinking it will just make a wet/muddy patch around my feet. Do you find that?
@@matthalpin1981 we use the rubber mats with holes in them - 4 mats in total that connect together and we don't have an issue with muddy feet. :) If you email me at admin@aquariustraveller.com I could email you a link of what I'm talking about :) We actually use the same rubber mats(without hole) for under our swag - Helps to stop the cold ground reaching the swag
@@AquariusTraveller I saw the rubber mats during the Timelapse but I was concerned they would not be high enough especially when camping on sand but it sounds like it works. Thanks, Chris.
@@matthalpin1981 We used them in Bribie Island ( Did you see that video?), but we were also camping in harder sand and not very thick. I suppose it's not going to work every circumstance, but done well for us so far.
It seems like nowadays everything requires you download an app and/or setup an account… it so annoying! The campgrounds looked well kept and pretty clean 👍🏼 It seems like they’re very strict there but personally, I like that, otherwise people tend to run amuck!

Your Welcome :)
Great review! Do you know of any other campgrounds up north for big groups or families like this one?
Not sure how dar up north your walking but just have videos on Noosa habitat camping and Northshore...they are north of Brisbane 😀
I remember seeing the Milky Way there
It's amazing isn't it ? I love getting out of the city and seeing so many colours in a sunset or the night sky 💖💖
@@AquariusTraveller Indeed it is!
💖💖👍

It's very annoying and for a first visit...I prefer not to do it.
I like third party apps... one password and book everything
Yep...they were nice grounds for sure and liked the strict rules for noise...but seems they are all like that these days to satisfy all the visitors.
