Asymmetric Collapses on 2-line Paraglider

Practicing asymmetric collapses on 2-line paragliders (Ozone Z-Alps is the light version of the Zeno) can be tricky. Video shows collapses pulled at 50% and 100% speed bar. This was done in a SIV (x-dreamfly.ch) wearing a life vest, above a lake, with a boat ready in case things go south.
In the first collapse, a massive cravatte had to be cleared out with a subsequent full stall and 90 degree spin.
The second collapse is no less dramatic, flying through the lines, snagging two b-lines in my GoPro mounted on my shoulder strap. A helmet mount might have snapped my neck.
In both cases, plenty of room for improvement: The posture needs to be way more compact to avoid twists (like in the second collapse). Being twisted and disoriented makes it difficult stopping a glider shooting out ahead.

On the second colapse the wing opened instantly but seems it required a very positive shot prevention before being slingshot onto the glider. Not easy

Beim Sturz durch die Leinen haben sich zwei B-Leinen in meiner GoPro verfangen. Zum Glück war diese auf meinem Schulterriemen und nicht am Helm montiert. Es brauchte ziemlich lange bis ich die Leinen aus der GoPro entwirrt hatte. Ja bin trocken geblieben ;-)

No, this was without collapsing lines. Just pulling the riser, which gives nastier collapses. I think collapsing lines more accurately reflect real life collapses

That is correct. This was done over water, wearing a life jacket, with a boat ready just in case.

God and the heavens hardly ever intervene here in mundane matters.
They save your soul and everything, but untangling lines is a matter of physics, mostly.

Die heutigen Liegegurtzeuge mit ihrem Trägheitsmoment sind auch mitunter Grund für heftige Schirmreaktionen.
Wichtig bei Training oder Klapper sofort die Beine unter den Sitz um die Bewegung des Schirms zu folgen.

It has already been attempted to make semi-rigid paragliders. The result is that it is not efficient in preventing collapse, but it is effective in preventing proper re-opening.
