Thanks for making the effort to clear this up. Couple of friendly tips - rehearse before you record (helps improve on halting delivery) and shoot with the camera not on auto focus. That way it doesn't reset eveytime he moves his arms. :)

I have an Evo-One helmet and I can tell you that it's easy to switch from Jet to Full face or vice-versa with one hand while riding.
You have to grab the chin bar from the side and not from the center like my older Evoline 2ST.
I would like to mention that fitting my comm system (Sena 10R) was a pain because the neck pad is now attached to the inner liner unlike the Evoline which had a separate neck pad.
I found it very hard to put it back in place with the comm system wires in place.
The nice thing is that the 10R battery fits nicely in the recessed area of the helmet.

Hi Daniel, thanks for the feedback. Yes, you can open the Evo-One with one hand. However Shark recommend that you always use two hands so that you don’t damage the chin bar over time. We haven’t seen a Sena intercom set fitted to an Evo-one yet so thank you for letting us know

I had an Evoline2 and now I have an Evo-one. I find the Evo-one is easier to use in terms of flipping the bar in either direction, you just have to do it from the side not the center and it works fine with just one hand on one side. It is a little bit quieter and enough lighter to make a noticeable difference. It is already carved out for a headset with velcro attachment pads for the speakers. The best feature of this helmet though is the ventilation. This helmet ventilates better than any helmet I've ever tried. No more sweaty head and with the pinlock and the chin ventilation fogging hasn't been a problem and I live in a cold wet climate for 8 months of the year. All in all I am very happy with this one.

Disappointed there was no side by side comparison with both faces closed to show the better aerodynamics and slimness.

Really nice comparison, I'm looking to buy my first helmet and the evo one 2 is a potential. Do you happen to know if it fits communicationsystems like Sena?

Nice review! You were comparing a Large Evoline and Medium Evo-One...are the shell size the same between the two on either model?
Also can you fit a Sena 20S on the EvoOne?

How is fit compared. I am told the evoline tends to be suited for a round skull. I have more neutral i suppose and am a size 57.
Depending on brand I have been between small and medium.
back racing days I wore shoei X-8 etc size small. More recent rf 1000 i am in a medium but not as good a fit s the the X8.
Do you think I would be small or medium in the evoline?

+Jonas Eklund Hi Jonas, the boss Georg, who you can see talking in the video has an Evoline. He typically wears a large in all his motorcycle helmets and the Evoline is the same. He says the fit is very similar to Shoei, which he always wears a large in. The Evoline models are rounder yes, so the best thing to do is try one on to make sure it’s a good fit for you.

I have the Evo-One, your video is a tad misleading regarding the chinbar return. You don't need both hands to return the chin bar, only one by using a slight side pivot pressure on the chinbar to release the lock feature. Otherwise spot on vid.

+Jock McJock Hi Jock, yes you can open the Evo-One with one hand. However Shark recommend that you always use two hands so that you don’t damage the chin bar over time.

You say you need both hands to move the chin bar from the rear position, but in the beginning of the video, you do it with only one hand.

Hi Scott, thanks for the feedback. When the helmets not on your head it’s very hard to use both hands to close the chin bar. We advise people to use both hands with the mechanism as to not damage it over time, but yes you can operate it with one hand.

Hi Robbert-Jan - you are right, the display helmets in the video were different sizes; The comments and information given however is based on comparing the same sizes. Your GetGeared Team
