beautiful women wishing her all the happiness in the world Thank you to all the amazingly kind and selfless acts people do to save a strangers true heroes
I got to do it 9 years ago and I was so excited. I wish more people understood how easy it really is-such a small inconvenience considering the potential benefit. My recipient is in a country where they don't release contact information but I got a letter after the first year saying she was well. She'd be 30 now and I hope she's living a wonderful life.
I’ve been on the registry for about 30 years, and been contacted twice. Both times there were multiple matches, and I didn’t get picked. I was really hoping I’d get picked…maybe someday. Everyone who can, should get on the list. It’s super easy.
@@danip3270 that’s really awesome. Does it make you wonder though that if we need a match that we wouldn’t find one or are the odds the opposite because there are not as many people registered? I keep urging people to register. I was born with one kidney. I have siblings that told me they wouldn’t give me one….. real nice🥲🥲 Hope I never need one. The one I have is really large so I told my family to make sure it’s donated to someone in need!!!
This is the type of story every news cast should begin and end with so people are reminded on a daily basis that there are still genuinely good people in the world.
A lovely moment. It's a privilege to regularly donate blood, plasma and other material on a regular basis. The process can be fit into a busy life and makes you feel good. More people should consider doing it if they can.
Yea to the donor! I was on the bone marrow registry for about 35 years. I aged off, I am 68 now. I am so sad that I wasn't called to donate bone marrow. I did donate platelets every two weeks for a few years. It's easy for me to donate platelets, I have easy big veins. Some of my friends had a daughter who had leukemia, she had a bone marrow transplant. Sign up to be a bone marrow donor, you could be the match for someone!
Just because you didn't get called doesn't make you any less of a hero. You were selfless enough to be on the list until aging off and still donated platelets which had the opportunity to save people. You are just as much of a hero. 💚
@teresakow423 That may be one of THE most profound questions to have ever been asked! THANK you for making others think about being more selfless! SO many keyboard warriors, yet so few TRUE warriors these days! 😢
That is how far people will go just to be able to walk. We need to be grateful for all the “little” blessings from God in our lives and stop taking them for granted, as a given or as a right.
Everyone should sign up for be the match It’s free, and you may never be called and the surgery can be painful, but you have the opportunity to save a life and there is no better feeling than that. That woman is a true hero
Most donations now are peripheral blood stem cell transplants. It's not much worse than donating blood--it just takes a few more hours. The shots to stimulate stem cell production in the 5 days leading to the donation can be uncomfortable, but the rewards are so much greater.
United guy, cheers to you, cheers to her, what a great story. Glad the bone marrow thing worked. Glad you’re still flying, glad she looks happy and successful in life, too.
I’m also a Bone Marrow Donor, my recipient unfortunately passed away just a few months after receiving my donation, but they tell me she got an extra 4 months of life to enjoy with her family. I strongly encourage everyone to consider joining the registry, it really a very meaningful thing to do for people.
I have heard that He now added her to his "Close friends/ Family benefit. So she can fly Free any time she wants, they also schedule a time to get together at least every couple years. But this was unique. Neither knew that the other was on the Flight until the last minute .
Oh lady! The fact that you exist gives this world meaning!

She must feel amazing, knowing that her small sacrifice saved this man's life and that he's doing so well. ❤❤❤
Finally something to cheer about.
That’s wonderful the pilot acknowledged her beautiful gift!
That was the sweetest thing. And she has a very..."healing" smile, too. ❤🕊🌈
I thought the same thing. Her countenance showed everything about her. She's a saint.
Yes. The red circling of the pilot in the video greatly assisted in the identification of who the pilot was
Lol !
Aww…what a nice thing to see on the first morning of the new year!

How interesting is that she was more of a match than his own brother! That really amazes me. If we're all connected in some way or another
Siblings are actually quite poor matches! I learned this when I joined the bone marrow registry
Well done Sir

@@CannibalChxrry Thanks, I appreciate your thoughts!
There are still many who are kind, merciful and full of love. They do exist and why can't we be the one instead of expecting others to do it.

This was not a blessing from God, this was a blessing from a good woman. Why do you have to spoil the moment?
Everyone should sign up for be the match
