    I picked this up because I’m already on the Milwaukee platform. My two issues I had after watching reviews. I don’t like the extra adapter. I thought it was to noisy. After getting it it wasn’t as noisy as I thought it would be. I’m liking it.

    Yes, I am a Milwaukee Fan Boy. I gotta say, I'm a huge fan when it comes to this Milwaukee Fan. The lighting bolt logo alone has blown the socks off my feet before it was ever turned on. I don't know what else to say, I'm blown away. Kidding aside, I really wish they let you plug in an extension cord

    I bought this fan and think they under estimated the run time. It runs strong and long. Love it. Good acting Dan. Hollywood is calling. Lol. Love your show. TiA!!!!

      Charles Camilleri Thanks Charles. I am pretty sure this fan will have the longest runtime of any fan especially with 6.0 and the new 9.0 batteries.

  • @LKN4WAR
    @LKN4WAR 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    A cool throw back nod from Milwaukee to corded stuff would be to put the old quick release twist cord socket On this fan that the corded sawzalls have or had. Great cords. This fan rocks with the 9.0 seems to run forever. I use daily.

  • @TheBearuk1
    @TheBearuk1 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    the separated power cord does suck though, dunno why they went that way and now with a regular extension cord plug in...other that that love it...haven't really had much experience with job site fans but when I worked in Georgia and Afghanistan the Army had those big swamp coolers which worked great in the summer time!

    • @DarkRaptor99
      @DarkRaptor99 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      TheBearuk1 I have a few Ryobi tools still and batteries so I probably won't pay 80 dollars for this. The plug in is a nice option, but it seems kinda 1/2 assed to be honest with having to use a wall wart dc plug. I think Milwaukee decided that people are only using battery power 99% of the time, so they decided we will include this but implement it bad. Its like the M12 radio similar deal they didn't use a nice real 110 cord its a lame 12v dc wall wart power cord that's easy to lose. Same thing i bet 99% of people with the M12 radio never use ac power. I'm a big Milwaukee power tool fan, but this tool isn't their normal innovative quality.

    • @TheBearuk1
      @TheBearuk1 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      DarkRaptor99 i agree with all that DR, half assed is the word on the power cord design, big bulky cheap plastic box that you will lose for sure, good fan poorly done! I hope DeWalt comes out with something better!

    To measure the CFM ( cubic feet per minute ) the tool you need is a manometer.
    I need more power than that here in Florida will run for 5 hours cause hot.
    Nice looking fan

    I rarely need a fan on the jobsite but this would be useful if I ever have to work in a recently painted room, especially on those sites where the electrical is being worked on as well so I have no power. If I had it I'd probably just use it in my garage, keep the air moving in that hot box!

    Ridgid came out with a nice looking hybrid fan too that has some cool hanging features.. Same TTI family I believe.

  • @gshuler13
    @gshuler13 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm thinking the Ridgid release may be the best option of the three. Easy to plug in without an accessory, good run time, good airflow. This fan looks great, but since I have M18 and Ridgid 18v batteries, I'll probably send my $$$ that way.

    I just bought this fan along with a 18v 3amp battery 2 pak...I'm already a Milwaukee fan with a good set of both their 12v & 18v cordless tools...BUT...I would like Milwaukee to listen...this is below their usual product innovation..No built in hooks or hangers(don't most of their other tools have rafter hooks and such?) and needing an adapter to carry along or lose when other cheaper competitors products don't is quite surprising...It's a good basic fan but at almost twice the price it should surpass the competitors.
    Now for the fan....It feels sturdy, moves a fair amount of air for it's blade size, and has great battery life on low speed. I just ran a fully charged 3 amp battery on low speed for a little over 11 hours!...that's right, 11 hours on only a 3 amp battery.
    Overall not really impressed, in fact least impressive tool I've ever bought from Milwaukee...I needed a cordless fan and didn't want to buy another set of batteries and charger that won't do a thing for all the tools I all ready have, so this is it...

    Can this fan charge batteries?

    • @JoshOlsonDev
      @JoshOlsonDev 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      GEORGE ZARIFIS No. You're unlikely to see products besides chargers that can charge because modern chargers have advanced circuitry, fans, etc. to increase long-term life of the batteries. That increases product cost. Just buy another battery with your savings. :-P Also, eff this fan; its specs are garbage compared to pretty much everything.

    Being primarily a Milwaukee tool user, I wouldn't buy their fan. It seems as if they rushed it to market just to have one out there with no real thought involved in it's design. Having to use a adaptor to power it with AC is nonsense. Shame on you Milwaukee for trying to pawn this thing off on your loyal consumers.

      Josh Trevino Milwaukee is a shooting a little high on the price for this one. You can get one of their brushed drill special buys at Home Depot with one battery for $99. I don't see the value at 80 bucks

    I got an old Ryobi One+ (The old blue model) 18V fan I use a lot. I like to sit in the garage in my folding camp chair with a cold one listening to the voices in my head while letting it blow on my balls. I'm an old burned out pipe welder (Local 725) and that is perfectly subspectable behavior with the door down. It runs for hours on high but the pin heads at Ryobi quit making that model. It has a larger blade circumference than the new ones and it pisses me off that they couldn't leave a good thing alone. Oh yeah, GREAT show so I'm a new scubsriber

    Damn shame that Milwaukee is releasing this hunk of plastic as their introduction to the cordless fan market. No extension cord capability, poor CFM output, lackluster run time. 17 hours on low is a lot for something like a fan. that translates to at least 4 hours on high and thatll save your life in an attic. Milwaukee is mostly for electricians and when i used to do electrical work being in attics for hours with no ventilation theres been many times ive almost passed out and been left up there. and itd just be nice to be able to wheel around a fan when you are set up working outside in the sun. im planning on rigging it on my neighbors push mower when she has to mow lol.

    Yea, its weird how this fan seem to be the worse than the other TTI tools from Ryobi and Ridgid. It's also expensive at 80 bucks also. The Ryobi is 40 and the Ridgid is 60 and they have more options to mount the fan and they plug directly into an extension cord. I'm not impressed with this tool its kinda like the M18 multitool nothing really innovative about it. I have some words to say to the Milwaukee product manager on this one a copy of the Robi fan just red and back with M18 battery support would have been preferable.
