Yer they havent gone anywhere in the last years, If this is required others will find a cheaper way of doing it, it all comes down down to access to retailers.
I still find it funny the bit of theater they put on by having the partician in the elevator. It was likely they showed up together, they are in the lobby area together, and they stand next to each other during pitches most often. That partician is doin' nothin'.
No, you don’t all get the funny side, it’s about drains cause it’s like gonna put you off eating food no one wants to talk about drains when ur eating!
Seems like it simply took them three years to see the product realised! That's fine since they will boom now that the pandemic is gone. Genius product and hope they do well! The Dragons clearly haven't had a house built if they're confused about the long wait time. The building and housing market takes a LONG time, especially with builders, to adapt to things. They wont simply do something if you tell them.
I would say that regulations are a driving force but according to them, it's also cheaper and easier, with or without regulations. If it's cheaper, quicker, easier, why haven't companies already adopted it to save time and money?
They’ve turned away successful products like the trunki and she clearly had a hunch that she might regret not investing. I think that potential reward made her overlook the plastic element.
If the rule has come in that it needs a sealed collar silicone is irrelevant anyway, but I’d imagine silicone would be more expensive than using mortar
He didn't finish school but was on building sites since 16? When do people usually finish school? I must be getting on a bit, I thought it was 16... i think my old man would have finished up 15 or even 14.

Because you're putting more money in than what you're selling. Say you get 100k of the collars made ready for shipping a £1 each. But only sell 1000 @ £10 you have essential losses of 90k on your year accounts.
Volodymyr would have been way better off interesting Dragons in his "staying alive somehow spray on protectorant" rather than the fannying about with dodgy pipes market.
Steven B not listening to the pitch or either of the guys. It was mentioned at least 3 times that there is no other product on the market of a similar kind but he weren't having it.
Steven brings nothing to this show in the years previous it was sooo much better the older episodes with younger Debra Peter Duncan Theo Richard were classic even Tej
Apparently they struck a deal with a major company sometime last year and are doing great. They were legit and business is booming. Happy for them!
Let's hope so, their last set of accounts show negative reserves of £130k!

Toolstation got their products in. I never sold a single one in my branch. Most of my customers used CT1 to seal holes.
I has a Gas Engineer use them I think it’s brilliant. I’m so happy they invested
I'm a contractor...and I can easily see this thing being sold in Home Depot. EASILY! I would use it.
I would have loved that for my new boiler installation, so much better than mortar.

Terry.....they have licenced the products to Talon which is a worldwide agreement. Sensible thing to do.
I use these all the time !!! Great products
Our waste pipes just have silicone around them and it's never failed in over a decade.
Nice caulk.
I really didn’t understand why the dragons were confused, the guys literally explained that the regulations haven’t came in yet, hence the low sales

Wouldn't it leave a little gap between the mortar on the bricks and the gap? So you could have to mortar it anyway in some cases.
I just use mastic and sealant

more like debs just does whatever pete does
How many times do the dragons pull out after the show .not all yes investment takes place.

Getting a dragon is like buying a winning lottery ticket, lots of entrepreneurs get stuck on the present. They will be millionaires now.
Not one Lady in red, but two. Bet they never came from a charity shop.
Well they employ over 130 staff now, so somethings going right for them
Product looks smart
It’s a punt. The marketplace will wait years for a better and cheaper solution or a knock off. It’s never going to adapt adopt a new entry.
The most important question was the temperature rating?
Adding additional mortar around pipes doesn’t cost extra 18 quid😂
Using mortar is cheaper but rubbish
Think they meant paying someone to do it

For all the dragons money why are they always wearing the exact same outfits in every single episode, the two women in the red and pink suits, omg
Maybe they film several episodes on the same day so they don't change clothes. Did you think of that?
Btw, "every single episode"...really?
Because money is more important to them which is why they don't waste it on a different outfit every day. Wisdom.
Because the episodes are patched together from different times to fit the tv time available , so same clothes give continuity
Same reason Attenborough wears the same clothes.
Makes it easier for editing.
