Next time run a weld vertically the full-length of your sleeve and let it cool down. It will shrink and the sleeve will be loose and come out real easy.

Good job ! There is a big problem with these engines: when you order new liner from kubota, only the inside diameter is good! The piston cannot fit in, they have to be rebored! Already the original part is expensive, in addition you have to pay for a reaming! It's scandalous !

Thanks for the comment Toluen60 Nom. I learned this the hard way - stay tuned for the upcoming videos to see what happened in the end.

I see many other videos of Kubota rebuilds where the piston and sleeve fit together. why is that not the case here?

@@Ayastracci you can buy sleeves made to fit or ones that the shop then bores them after the install. My understanding is the sleeves should be measured after installing because they are a pressed fit not all blocks are exactly the same size so the sleeves will be different sizes as well after being installed. Also not every piston is exactly the same size so you should measure the piston being installed in each sleeve and custom bore the sleeve to fit each piston.

Any progress on this engine? Reason I ask is because I need to resleeve my DH1101 and I was wondering if the sleeves you have are in need of sizing and honing.

Hi Robert. My wife is working on the editing of the next video on the Kubota engine rebuild. It should be ready by end of next week, so please stay tuned for it and you'll see what I had to do to get the engine back together.

I live in Canada, where could you get original parts for kubota b 6000. I see that yours are original, but when I search, they always offer me Chinese ones.

I purchased the parts directly from the Kubota dealership.
