You are one Dumbo 😢😢I need to know if there are a spacer between the engine and the frame???????????
whats an f1 error means ?, it comes on with the beeping sound shortly after riding
This is the 3rd video I watched and still no info about filter torque
Thank you, great video
Great video
Well done. Thank you
You said you show us where to put the “O” rings, I guess you forgot to put it in…
Thank you 🙏
How to remove the piston
Hi. The piston, connecting rod and crankshaft are removed from the cylinder head by removing the four machine bolts holding the lower engine case. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.
Dude! You use alot of words to make a long video but you don't teach much. 10 minutes we do not need to know that you use a generic light.
What is the part number for the hydraulic pump
Thanks
Thank you, the belt diagram really helped me get my lawn mowed!
Great video, thank you!
I live in Canada, where could you get original parts for kubota b 6000. I see that yours are original, but when I search, they always offer me Chinese ones.
I purchased the parts directly from the Kubota dealership.
@@bprieur Thank you
Great Video Ben. I have one of these needing work, i'm curious what the rough cost to do this rebuild is?
Hi Murk5. It cost me around $3,500 to complete the rebuild
@@bprieur Thank you. Take care, be well.
We're wondering where the wire with the wiring loom goes. Couldn't see a damn thing for the alternator
great job !
Thanks
Never a part 2?
Part 2 and more is coming soon
Also, do you mind sharing how you got the old fasteners off and back on to the new power steering line?
I dropped a bolt EXACTLY where you did with the battery. Didnt have magnets, but I had like 30 sets of chopsticks from chinese takeout. Stupid, but it worked lol
Do one from start... you're only doing the reinstall...😢😢
Im gonna watch this series as I just bought a 58' diesel utility 350. Inwas told is was a 47hp. Only thing I can relate to it International and utility hood decals. The decal numbers are gone but theres still the sun shade shape of it. On the casting numbers, the letters C-57' and D-58' years are shown everywhere. #15549 is 1958 350 numbers. The aluminum engine plate is worn so much I can only read 15549 and D. Under the D there's a S that I can't find the meaning. I found your channel looking for the transmission fluid and gearbox fluid infos. Thanks for your videos.
This video is just what I was looking for. Thank you for taking the time to record and share the process. Very nice presentation. Off to repair mine!
Where did you get the motor from? I am having a hard time locating a replacement. My blower has same exact problem.
Sorry - I didn't watch far enough :) Got the info.
Nice uv glasses how well did they help you see the hose for removal? 😅
How is the unit running?
The unit runs great. It does it's self test once every week at the same time. No issues.
Definitely need the pickup hose in the tank. Any sled 30 years old does not have the original attached still. Sometimes the brass pre filter/ check valve rots off and the line floats up. Not sure why, maybe the sloshing around but if it points up instead of down you will get nothing but air even with a tank that's almost full. If you get a new to you sled it's nice to put on clear gas lines to see what's going on. Also it looked to me like your fuel filter is on backwards. See if there is an arrow on it.
Just got a 2017 Tundra. I already have the filter cap tool for our 2016 4.0 4runner. Is it the same size cap tool?
Yikes grinding while the oil filter mount is wide open below. The debris can get into engine.
There was a plastic cap on the oil filter hole if you watch part 2 you will see that
Ok mahalo
In the process of swapping in a new B&S 25 HP into my 2000 Honda HA4118 (JD LX188) mahalo for the useful info. I got a bunch of McGyvering to do to merge the technologies.
The timing marks are very important; however, there is one thing that drove me nuts until I figured it out. I lined the dots up and then I figured I'd spin the engine around a few times to confirm timing. Well, what a mess. the dots never matched up again. I spun, reset, spun, reset . In my frustration I figured I'd highlight the dots with a little paint. Around, around again and then I noticed... The crank, injector gear, and cam gear did line up, it was only the idler gear that didn't line up. I was going to count teeth but I'm assuming the gear count is not divisible into the other gears and is an "odd" count. I guess this is to ensure a slow rotation of the teeth engagement to balance wear. Duh...
You don't use the back oil sump tube for filling or checking your oil level, that is just for extracting oil from your sump. you fill and check from your valve cover knob.
The keyway is the slot that the key fits into. The removable pice is called the “key”, not the keyway.
Makita tools 👌
What about all the calibration points that are not set up in the new controller. Little things like voltage out. Sense in, cal windings. You really need a service manual to see what you have missed. I think you will be amazed. Not a DYI. project generators can be very dangerous in untrained hands.
You never shot off the 220 volts that are sent to controller for sensing mains. Ouch
I have just completed a restoration of a 65 Cuda that has has been in my family since new. With just a 318 is a lot of fun and gets a huge amount of attention and admiration wherever I drive it. Update on your 66?
Remove tension on engine pulley? How
Good afternoon, how are you? I live in Brazil and I'm having problems with the D170 lawn mower, so I ask if you can make a video with the throttle springs, which keep the engine acceleration stable. thanks.
Hi Cesaralmeida2750. I don't have the D170 anymore, but could make a video on my D140 which is very similar to the 170. Thanks for watching
@@bprieur ok, please, thank you very much, God bless you.
A welding blanket keeps slag off critical parts. Some add candle wax or lube after welding the nut. Good job
Thanks for the tip
Do you know if an RCK54-75 B mower deck fits on a B5100e Kubota?
Hi Hawsug4614. I'm not certain if RCK54-74 will fit. I recommend checking with a dealer first.
Good video. Do you remember what seller you purchased your liners from?
Thanks Montiemorrison5637. I purchased the liners from a local Kubota dealer.
Great video......except for the positioning of the blades ......at 31:56 Any belt driven ( anything ) will never stay timed as your suggesting in this video. Unless the blades were " chain " driven. The belt slips...and is designed to slip to prevent damage. Therefore the timing goes out the window ! Cant keep them timed.
BEST OIL FILTER REMOVAL ADVICE: To take off the filter off on my 2023 PowerBoost, I found the easiest way, was a form fitting cap style/ filter wrench. Mine said "76/14" on it. That is the size of the OEM filter. Then.....I used "wobble knuckle"/swivel joint socket attachment and a 16" of extension on a 3/8" ratchet to get the filter off. It worked perfectly. I fiddled around for a long time before discovering that 16" was the perfect length. Oh, and don't forget the swivel/universal joint socket. That's the only way you can get the angle to work. I then held the filter cap/wrench onto the filter with my left hand and turned the ratchet with my right hand.
Thanks for the vid! Maybe cover how to remove oil, for the oil change
When did you adjust the clutch. I must of missed that
Hi James. I never adjusted the clutch. I guess I was lucky and didn't have to do it as there hasn't ever been any issues with the clutch engaging or disengaging.
What kind of hydraulic fluid did you use
@@JamesWhite-tg4kw I used Kendall hydraulic fluid

Wheatland special?
Hi TBR, LLC. It's not a Wheatland Special.
Ford did a horrible job with the oil filter location.

What's the correlation of the dead battery and the controller? Is the voltage regulator in the controller?
Hi A&A. In the case of my generator, I knew in advance that the battery was dead (as it was old) and that the control board was damaged as the LCD screen did not operate. So I'm not certain of any correlation of the two.
what is the piston cylinder clearance?
I don't have the clearance. I relied on the machineshop that cut the sleeves to size the piston / rings to the sleeves.
@@bprieur Thank you for your reply. the value is not indicated in the workshop manuals
