What ever it takes to motivate you. We want to see you get it done and go on some adventures. Also, would spot weld those studs on the hub. They can loosen off. Happened to me.
Have you tried to lay a 40 in the back of a XJ? From what I've read on the forums, a 40 won't fit in the cargo area. Unless you are planning to pull the back seat out. You should recess the fuel tank until the bottom of the tank is flush with the frame rails. That's what I am planning to do with mine, would like to see how you do it. Either way, look forward to seeing your clearance with the sterling 10.5 back there.
I haven’t, I’ve only measured. Should fit width wise and yeah I plan on pulling the back seat…don’t need to go wheeling with 5 people in one jeep haha. A few people have giving me that idea of the raising the gas tank, definitely an option. We’ll see once we get to that point.
@@backcountrybeagles I'm a little further along in life, I have to put two kids in the back of the jeep. Losing the backseat isn't an option. I am planning to raise the trunk floor about 6-8", build a skid plate that is flush with the bottom of the frame rails, and attach the tank to the skid plate. Move the fuel filler up, just below the window. Plate the rear quarters in 1/8", and that will cover the old fuel filler location. My goal is to tuck the tank, make clearance for tons, and keep the tank out of the interior area. Nothing worse than smelling fuel or hearing that fuel pump whine.
Could you take a measurement from the bottom of the diffs on on the green jeep and the red jeep for a comparison on the actual ground clearance gain? I would love to see the difference please
Just got the Resurrection Cherokee back together so finally got around to doing this (didn’t forget about you!) Resurrection Cherokee: Front, 12.25” Rear, 12” Red Cherokee: Front, 10.5” Rear, 9.75”
By any chance have you had any wiring issues on your 98 XJ? Just asking because I have a 98 and it’s giving me a bunch of wiring issues. Also really love the build. The jeep is looking really awesome.
That looks nasty! Serious meat envy. Here I am all excited for my 4 1/2 inch long arm lift and 33's..... If I'm lucky my tired old 4.0 will keep ticking away (lifters are noisy!) thru the other upgrades. If it holds out, it'll get a stroker. If it goes tits up earlier than that, it may just get a plain old crate.
Yes! I have been waiting for another video.
Glad to hear man! Trying to post every week/ every other week again.
looks HUMONGOUS! Wishing you the best. Very talented you are!
Thank you so much!
Awesome video. I've been following the build since day one and finally seen the jeep sitting on those wheels and tires it looks pretty cool
Appreciate you following along! I think these wheels were the perfect choice for this Jeep👌🏽
Going to have to build a ramp for the dogs!
😂oh for sure!

That's a good idea, didn't think of that.
Bravo my man!! 👏👏👏 that’s the best xj build I’ve ever seen hope mine looks 1/8 as good as that monster
Appreciate that brother! 👌🏽🤘🏽💪🏽
Thanks for vid! Its finally all coming together, just for you to take it all apart for paint.
Haha you got that right, can’t wait to get to that point though. One step closer to being out on the trail!
I use cantramatic wheel balancers… they work)
It looks huge!
That’s what I’m saying! Haha
DUDE! So sweet
Thanks brother!
Thing is a monster
I’d have to agree 💪🏽👌🏽
Sick video man! Will your new rotors fit those new studs??
They should, still 14mm, but knowing my luck…
It's looking great! If you decide to sell that rear bumper im in western colorado also and would be interested in buying it.
Once I get to the bumper and decide what I’m going to do I’ll make sure to post if it is for sale.

I love it bro!!! I love the stance. I hope youre going to stroke that 4.0. ;-}
We'll be doing something in that engine bay.... not sure which route yet though....

@backcountrybeagles wow that's allot of extra space where it matters. Keep up the good work I'm loving the content. Awesome build.

Few weird things, interior wise. Windows/door locks have a mind of their own, other than that no.
Appreciate it man!

I think that’s plan here too😅😂
