I think he is lacking a bit of confidence in his defense nowadays. After his defeat against Zii Jia, he told the Japanese media he had no confidence of returning ZJ’s smashes to the baseline. If you train his defense with your powerful smash, I believe he can win another world title, maybe even Olympics 2024.
