You picked a great day to test video quality! The Fall foliage in that area was beautiful. The trees were changing colors but hadn't dumped their leaves to get that bare, winter look. The quality was good and the horizon was dead flat I'm also digging your new studio! You just need a good back drop to put up behind you and no one will know!
It seems to have a lot of features, and it flew ok, but I would have expected better at that price point. Great review Marcus, you covered every thing, thanks for sharing.
Great presentation Marcus 👈🥸👉! The shape reminds me of the deerc 22. (My first real camera drone). It had a 2-axis gimbal but, the EIS made up for the lack of a third axis. The video was great for $299.00 and my lack of experience 2 years ago. Cheers, Brendan
Wow these level of drones have come a long way!!...i remember 4 years ago they were absolutely worthless.....i bet this new air3s is going to hit it out of the park i can't wait 4 your review on that one!!! Stay fly bro
That’s a pretty cool drone for Holy Stone. I really like the upgrades they made to the 600. I haven’t flown the older 600 but I remember seeing a review on it somewhere. lol. Holy stone is coming along for sure.
The HS600D is working well. The horizon level is high enough for a great panorama picture. The video recording stopping randomly looks like a bug to fix. There is a strong signal for good control with FPV. A larger propeller will have greater wind resistance. Thanks for the intelligent analysis video.
When you held down the RTH button you switched it to "Attitude Mode" and out of GPS mode, you could see it at the top of the phone screen. Maybe the intent is to press the RTH button twice instead of holding it? I have the SJRC F22S 4K and I like the new camera on the HS600D, like that you can now turn the camera down a full 90° and the colors looked really nice with the fall colors.
I noticed that after when you first lifted off the pad it drifted but after you finished flying an you came in to land it did not drift why was it better then maybe more satellites just wondering
My question is did they send you that drone reason why I asked that is because no one else has a review on it an Holy stone is not saying how much it cost im figure the wanted you to test the drone so they would know what to correct before putting it on the website im trying to decide on this drone or the RUKU F11 GIM2 i like both 😊
Yes, Holystone sent me this drone for review. At the time I published the video I did not know the cost. If you look in the description there is a discount code.
Last year you donated a snaptain p30 drone that my son won at last year’s drone meetup, he won it in April,he never crashed or anything, than sometime in June/July is went haywire on him and crashed, the snaptain company did NOTHING to help, they offered to exchange it but only if I had the receipt for, I explained that we don’t/didn’t have a receipt for something that was won off a raffle, SO needless to say…. I don’t trust it or any other products that they have
Ma'am, first off what does a Snaptain drone your son won in a raffle have to do with a Holy Stone? Secondly, your son won this drone from a public non-sponsored (Snaptain had nothing to do with this) giveaway. The drone was used. It was not a new drone. Why do you think a Snaptain or any drone manufacturer would warranty a second-hand used drone? Not even DJI would warranty repair a used drone that someone won in a giveaway. Warranties are very very rarely transferrable. Maybe in the case of a vehicle they can be but not for drones or toys. Snaptain has no idea how the original owner treated the drone. For all they know the original owner could have crashed it multiple times though we know that's not the case. This is a ridiculous comment and you should be embarrassed complaining about this. How about just buying him a new drone rather wasting time complaining about a warranty that doesn't apply to you. It would only apply to the original owner for 1 year.
@@RDsRCReviews it was sponsored and was told YOU were the one that donated it. But you are correct about it having nothing to do with the holy stone and it WAS brand new straight out the box etc and again was told that you were the one that donated it….so it’s neither here nor there! Have a good day/evening!!
@@RDsRCReviews also wanted to had, the person that sponsored the event suggested I try contacting the snaptain company directly and told me you were the one again that donated said drone….was gonna message you on facebook (which I probably should have done here on a more private message/conversation so my apologies for not doing that ) but the person that held the event and told me who the donation was from asked me to not contact you directly cause said person of event was worried about losing not only another donation person but a sponsor as well! To each their own I guess%%!! 🤷♀️ peace out
@@The-Adventures-Awaits I had nothing at all to do with this giveaway and I've not been to Florida since 1984. Lol. You are very confused but I do know the people including Marcus that were at the event and the drone was NOT sponsored by Snaptain. It was a drone that Marcus had reviewed on his channel and it was given to him to review. Snaptain had a NOTHING to do with the raffle and they had no knowledge of it. The drone was not new. It had been flown before and reviewed on this channel. There's no receipt because the drone was sent to Marcus in exchange for a review. You seem very mixed up and confused. I am aware of the giveaway because Marcus told me and some other friends when he was going to the meetup that he was giving away a Snaptain drone he had used and flown and he was his idea and Snaptain had nothing to do with this
Hello Lisa, a couple of points to make here. 1. Holystone and Snaptain are not the same company. 2. Snaptain very graciously sent me their P30 drone for review on my channel. I then donated it to Capt. Ray's South Florida Drone Meetup as a raffle prize. 3. Your son flew the drone a lot and appeared to get a lot of enjoyment out of it. 4. I'm not sure why there would be an expectation for Snaptain to repair a drone that you did not purchase from them. I'm sorry the drone broke, but I hope you and your son enjoyed it. Take care, and have fun flying your drones!
Fyi just asking! So all the sensitive folks please give me grace for this question 🙄. I mean no harm. I just want to know. OK here's my question? Are the majority of your views from other countries that use Meters for everything? Because when i first started flying your page was the page I would watch. And it drove me nuts trying to figure out what was 30m and M/S. Only to learn it's the same as what we use in America MPH and Feet and Inches! So why not just use American settings? 🙄. I was super happy to learn. I can change the settings to what I could understand lmao 🤣. Inches, FT, and MPH are so much easier! Again just asking! So please don't tear me a new one. I'm just asking why do you not use American settings unless the majority of your viewers aren't American. Where we use MPH, Feet, and Inches! My car can switch to KM which is cool but yeah MPH works! So I'm glad we can switch to whatever we are comfortable with! Nevertheless just asking! So please don't grill me! People it's just a question
Oh and where you in att mode? I didn't see how many satellites you had. The area where most would have the number of satellites. It says zero. Unless that's for something else. That would explain the drifting off. Or bad blades! Either way i would definitely do another recalibration! That was alot of drifting.
@rob1957 i no longer need to do all that. Plus it's not safe to do while flying. I was able to switch the settings to the American way. But when I first started it was not a fun time converting before flying. EVERY FLIGHT............. But once I learned and read the directions and etc. I was happy to see we can put the settings to what we feel more comfortable with.
@@Quis85 Yes you can choose Imperial units in the app. I thought you were referring to when you see a video that shows meters and need to do an in-head conversion to feet.
@rob1957 lmao 🤣 my bad for the miscommunication lmao. Yeah, when I was a rookie pilot I didn't know any of this. But I wanted to fly. That was my biggest issue. Doing the math every time. Until I learned I didn't need to do all that lmao 🤣 just go into the settings lol. I was a rookie then. Watching this video. I notice he STILL uses the M/S and M method. I just wanted to know why! Lol no one uses this unless you live in another country that uses that on a regular. On a funny note! Imagine a police officer pulling you over in my state of FL. Telling you hey you were going 35 M/S lmao 🤣. Most of us would go to jail for arguing about how are we getting a ticket for going the speed limit lmao 🤣 or knowing we were speeding but cop says we going 35. Which to us would going to slow. 35m/s means 80 MPH. But the officer said 35M/S fyi I'm being humorous now aka making a joke lmao. But yeah just wanted to know. Lol.
The price of this glitchy drone is ridiculous. The more you do reviews of drones other than DJI, the more they point to the true leader. Nothing like advertising a 6K range when it can barely do 1K.

Hi Marcus. This was one of your better experimental flights. Loved the colors of the trees.
Thank you Jim! This drone is a good one!

This one did quite well Kevin. Holystone sells a lot of drones on Amazon. I suspect many people who buy them have never heard of DJI. 🙂

now this drone is just like the veenix v11 drone even the same size battery an same remote but its a nice drone with a good camera 👍

I saw that too. I reported it to Holystone.
So, this is basically just SJRC F22 Series with a 3-axis gimbal, isn't it?🤔🤔
They sure look similar. 🤷♂️
In Canada it's $700cdn b4 taxes!,,, so $499usd? *** I see now it has a $200cdn discount on Amazon Canada.. so about $359usd.
