When I have brought up concerns or changes to my doctor, she just "tut-tuts" and goes in as though I had said nothing. Very frustrating. I stay because she got my lupus under control quickly and because I get very stressed when going to a new doctor.
Thank you for this! I looked on google and this video came up in my feed...I am 66 and have lupus since I was 21, and pregnant with a 12 pound baby...since have been diagnosed with several other auto immunes, including MS & SBS...5 spine surgeries...I just moved here to Palm beach Florida, and about to see a new to me Rheumatologist & Pain management...My rash on my hands is mostly at the palm of, also gout and Psoriatic Arthritis, RA...Finding out what is going to with my hands through you, a eye opener...The cold hands and feet, AND at the rods where my spine is 2/3rd's fused, I use a heat blanket when needed =) Subbed to your channel, to learn even more, God bless you!
Have you tried an anti-inflammatory diet? Look into the Wahls protocol from Dr Terry Wahls. It got her out of a wheelchair. A lot of people are healing autoimmune disease with carnivore or ketogenic diets as well. I think it’s worth trying.
I have Lupus and get severe tendonitis and joint pain... i also often feel like my fingers can get... displaced, I guess? Like they get overstretched when i hold something, and it hurts for several hours... x_x
Thanks, Dr Ortiz! Appreciate this information. If you see this, could you inform how lupus is diagnosed as differentated from joint arthritis? Please. Thanks, again. May God Bless
can the finger/hand issues described here also apply to the toes and feet? my great toe has turned red then purple, sore 3 times now and then gets better..until now
Google gout and look at the images to see if they’re similar. Whether they are or aren’t, see a doctor.I have lupus and this video describes my hands perfectly. I’ve never had this kind of reaction in my feet/toes, but I may just be very lucky.
what about knots on the dip joints? im 39 and currently awaiting my rheum appt but had been reading sometimes can be caused with lupus as well? is this true?
I have scleroderma/crest my fingers are totally contractured...i still cant find out a definite answer after 20 years....they are not painful in the joints... The surgeon told me thats because they are fused? Would this be the case or is it just the skinand tendons so tight? They have been this way for 13 years...or would i need surgery to be able to gwt movement? Thankyou kindly....your shows are wonderful...i am in australia...would love to get an answer to my question
I think I remember hearing it could be caused by carbohydrates, which gives you a vitamin B-1 deficiency, (Dr Eric Berg). I am not medically qualified but would recommend a keto or carnivore diet which, going by the comments on the videos Cures just about everything. Namaste 🙏
My hands turn red and swell horribly. The joint pain in my fingers is intense. I'm also a dog groomer so whatever is causing this is taking a major toll on my career. My doctor just tells me to take an advil and drink water. :(
I wish you would do a video for skin are. I have sjogrens, and my skin is so dry and peels constantly. I have to use moisterizers several times a day. Dermatologist just gives different steroid creams which don't work. Please help.

Have lupus cutaneous. Have OA and RA. Have every symptom u discussed. Daily inflammation. Wish you were my doc. Ty. Bless you. ❤
I absolutely love your hair! So cute 🥰
My NP has Lupus. She is remission by eating a Ketogenic diet. Why do doctors never discuss the importance of diet 😢
Because that would put them out of business. Keto or carnivore diets seem to fix an awful lot of diseases!
I thought my hand problems were a separate condition and never could figure it out.
Thank you ❤
Very informative!

I wish my Doc would listen 😢I have no faith anymore with that being said…. I know I’m not crazy.
Fascinating, thank you.

Sarcoidosis was similar for me with the changing nerve pain. I don't know if it is related.
I have severe pain in all my joints on the right side and it’s constant should I see a rheumatologist before any other doctor
rheumatologists usually require a referral, but you can ask. PCP is best starting place ive recently learned
@ thank you I hope you find one also
