Estos vídeos me encantan porque son comoa animados y uno entiende muy bien este fue mi punto favorito del vídeo me pareció muy fácile de entender 1:12 . Gracias.Bye
Thank you for this video full of information. Better explanation than my teacher , tomorrow is my exam and you cleared the topic easily and now I will get good marks . Thanks once again
Good question, Nathan. Adjectives never modify verbs. It's adverbs that modify verbs (e.g., in the sentence "He runs quickly," the adverb "quickly" modifies the verb "run"). Adjectives modify nouns and pronouns, so in that sentence the comparative adjective "taller" is modifying the pronoun "she." It might help to think of adjectives describing nouns. "Taller" is describing what she looks like in comparison to him. Hope that helps!
Thanks for reaching out. Most textbooks present comparative adjectives at an intermediate level, and this video is intended for intermediate learners. We have a lot of beginner level videos as well! Best of luck to you!! By the way, "win" isn't a natural verb to use with "exam." Better choices are: pass my exam, ace my exam, nail my exam, or get a good/great/perfect score on my exam. Hope that helps!
Hi Minnie, which regular rules are you referring to? Comparative and superlative adjectives follow the same set of rules when it comes to adding -er/-est or more/most.

Wouldn’t “She is taller than him” be a comparative adverb because “taller” is modifying the verb “is”?
Good question, Nathan. Adjectives never modify verbs. It's adverbs that modify verbs (e.g., in the sentence "He runs quickly," the adverb "quickly" modifies the verb "run"). Adjectives modify nouns and pronouns, so in that sentence the comparative adjective "taller" is modifying the pronoun "she." It might help to think of adjectives describing nouns. That's right. We used a professional recording studio for these grammar videos. They're not AI.
Thanks, however, it's too complicated for beginner students to understand.
The approach could've been much easier and faster to the point.

The inland taipan is approximately 23 times venomouser than the Indian Cobra.
Good try! But "venomous" has 3 syllables, so the comparative form is "more venomous."
I'm watching this for my demo. I have to teach this grammer to a random class!!!!!!
Best of luck! I had to teach the present perfect tense for my demo, which is such a tricky tense to teach.

If the adjective ends in an e, we take the E away and add er! For example: large becomes larger!

How is "modern" 2 + syllables? And "famous" as well.
2+ means 2 or more. Mo-dern and fa-mous both have two syllables and don't end in -y, so they take "more," not the -er ending.
thanks
