@@chrclmnky I get my box tomorrow. It's a prefab from a local reputable company. I ordered the different tee nut you recommended. I always have some m3 bolts luckily. I even accidentally ordered the wrong bolt. Only 1 inch haha. So I'll be using 1.5 inches now.

Fyi I'm building a theft resistant single10" @32hz ported enclosure prototype that is all 1.5" mdf and bottom has a u channel to rear with eye bolts so its heavy (80lbs no sub)and I can loop a security cable thrue it (box helps hold when tugged not just eye bolts)and secure it to the jeep outta site outta reach to cut but easily removed when I need . my next box for 2 planet audio 15s will be a 6th order parrallel 3 chamber enclosure will include the same theft resistant designs but also subs safer inside and build will be easier thanks to this . I'll thumb up n sub , be well , respect from Tacoma wa

If the enclosure is done correctly a sub will perform well. people get hung up on brand snobbery and exaggerated ratings. Part of my plan was to use "cheap" subs for my 6th order , originally I intended to use pyle power 15s but went with planet audio instead ($10more each) but frequency response and specs more to my liking for my box. For my 10 box I ordered a single mofo-10×2dvc sub under $100 so also "cheap"(lil more $ but I always wanted 1) . people that think you only get what you pay for obviously don't have building skills ,Jbl has always been great for me , good sounds probably why I got jacked but I love my tunes and if we don't rebuild better and ROCK ON then the scumthieves win.
@@justinkcraig I've stopped getting jbl subs, particularly JBL S and JBL Club series because their front surround got unglued quickly off dust caps. All I want now are subs that has actual thread stitching instead of glue. Stitchings are 100x more durable. And yes I agree with you. ☺️

Clean build man, i would recommend removing that grill thingy inside of the port. I would guess that it makes the port chuff alot? especially at lower frequencies.
