You did a great job for your first time realy good. Fpv is frustrating building programming it's a bitch. But your on the right track and I'm looking forward to see your progress. Don't give up your doing great 👍
You are right, flv flying is not meant to be easy, if it was everyone would be flying, on that note you did really well, a lot better than my first real flight outside the sim, I suggest maybe saving a bit and buying a small cinawhoop or tinywhoop that has dji camera as that way you can fly indoors or out and not have to worry about crashing as much as the propellers aren't as openly exposed, you will most likely have to buy the batteries and a charger for certain batteries but still at least you would have both drones (one to fall back on as you learn)
i hold my self like a month while training in the sim...and it paid of...power loop on my first flight 😂...i crash it on day 3 tho broke 1arm but its all good... btw u doing realy good on your first flight👍👍👍...
Hah loved watching this! So much to work out hey for fpv. Dji makes it a lot easier to start but it’s still not easy hey! But probably not a bad idea to make a lot of steps before unleashing full acro.
@@amycreighton I'm guessing I don't have the reflexes for it... But then I learned that the Mini 3 Pro works with the goggles and motion controller 2... So tempting... 😅
Well I wouldn't call it a disaster by any means! It's still in one piece (mostly) and yeah FPV has a pretty steep learning curve. The iFlight you got makes a lot more sense for FPV usage and works awesome with the DJI goggles and controller you have already.
Be sure to check out various youtube videos on how to pair the DJI goggles with the iflight and how to switch it back and forth between the DJI drone and the iflight. There are some horrendous bugs there that can spoil your day/week
I didn't even get any Sim practice lol....just practice high @ first then as u get more comfortable there you will feel safer lower to the ground.... At least it worked for me....90% of the time The Sim probably gets u comfortable enough to crash thinking there will be Zero consequences....definitely not that sort of drone 👻 1st or 2nd crash will shred u!!!
@@amycreighton I noticed lmao 🤣....I could feel the frustration thru the screen I legitimately flew up to 300ft each time I popped her into M-mode....that is until I had about 3 months worth of flights Then when u get crazier, you have to worry about signal strength and positioning urself, etc. Also, I finally worked my way up to a 33 degree camera tilt....it was like learning to fly all over again because it changes ur flight dynamics Keep it up tho, looking good overall! 👻
I'm waiting for the DJI Avata next week. I've flown most of the Mavics (see my Drone playlist) and always been interested in FPV, but didn't want to spend that much yet. The Avata looks to be in my price range.
Been there, done that! I was impressed that you went right into manual mode! I found a way to crash it in normal mode on my first flight!!!
