You should try the cubs theme team before season 2. Castellanos, happ, Bryant, Pete crow, Baez, Suzuki all them get crazy boosts against righties.
You only got to choose a couple captains I believe so unless he picked whoever the cubs captain is he can’t

I grabbed schwarber and Darvish so not only do they get boosts for rhp but lhp also. It's pretty stacked

Getting launch angled with 91 exit velo on damn near a perfect pci with 125 power is the definition of how shitty this game is. Had somebody send me a spit voice record cuz I got launch angled in what shoulda been a walkoff to end the game with good pci but 97 off the bat and to warning track left field at shippet on legend on a down and in sinker. This game sucks
I did dodgers & dbacks theme team and I surprisingly won both
Also these captians even at P5 the highest is a 97 which is insane, I'm hoping SDS drops new captians for TTs in season 2 that are 90 overalls
It sucks that DD is so boring right now. I ended up starting a franchise because of barely any content. Atleast im enjoying that
I run a team with Ortiz/Kershaw, and Joc/Joe Kelly LA that are pretty effective. Also Mattingly and Whitey pretty good Yankee boosts.
I’ve been having a lot of fun using my Giants theme team, I know no one ever uses them but imo super underrated and the contact on a lot of the cards is insane!
I agree that the more creative teams seem to have worse luck, at least in the instances you’ve used then
What I do for my TTs is I get the captian boosts players then fill the rest with guys that played for the team in tho spots. Like Mike Cameron for CF

Yankees theme team has 6 switch hitter plus Babe and Judge. You will have to use Donny Baseball at 1st or corner outfield and have Whitey. Whitey is cheeks.

am i the only one that has noticed the common live series tyler jay (who is a dawg in moonshot) throws 93-97 mph but his topps now throws 89-93?
Every game I give up multiple runs due to my fielders booting 75 mph ground balls. I have Rollins, Brett, Roberts, and Cron in my infield, so its not like I have bad fielders, Im just getting really unlucky fsr.
