Topwater Bass, Striper, Live Shad=Trifecta-Castaic Upper Lake 2024

@@josemeza7002 I would say something small but also a larger walking bait. Just to see what they are eating that day. We’ve been catching on both depending on the bait fish they are chasing.

@@pepperjewels7346 this time of year they were spawning up in like 1 foot of water so I got them cruising the shore with my big bass net. I would recommend a real shad net though.

Awesome video as always! Love the huge stripper you got at the beginning. Gotta love the lido smallies. Constant action it seems. Quick questions, what size of keitech do you drop shot? Also how have been the winds lately? I always look at the reports at that what keeps me off the lake.

Thanks! Mostly the 3inch Keitech. I avoided any winds from the north because they make the launch ramp a wave pool. Southern winds aren’t too bad.
