dang sucks that happened man. that boat was so clean too. at least it looks good now though. is yours just all weld? i commercial fish now for catfish out of a 18 foot deep v its crazy but i know all the bs that comes with it. i already blew out a bearing driving loaded with 500 lbs of fish for market, blown spares just getting it fixed lol had one motor lose compression in one piston had to get a used 60 hp motor because they are expensive as heck, but now i also got a 21 foot deep v with a bad transom but has a backup good 90hp on it.. its just part of it. at least you got warranty,

what lures would you recommend for Castaic upper lake?

Is it a good time to take my 13yo daughter? Is the bait big enough to not get gill netted? The last time we went it was breezy and she was on the bow. a guy almost hit her with a lucky craft jerk bait.

Stripers are great but once you set that hook, they immediately loose the will to live 😅

I haven't been there for a few years, last I heard then, was not to eat the fish because the water was too dirty. Is it still like that? Just catch and release? I'm going tomorrow. Enjoy your fishing.
