Summon Hades manager and removes enemy to the pits of Tartarus
Charon should have a secondary passive where each time an enemy dies, they lose 2 gold. It would be horribly insignificant, but just imagining someone being 20 gold away from an item and having to wait for it because they died 10 times is the chaotic energy I thrive off of
If each time he killed an enemy, 2 golds would be transferred from the enemy to him I wouldn’t even be mad and I don’t even play as him, it’d be insignificant but so cool at the same time
I was hoping for him to be able to give allies a lift
I mean, he sorta can. His ult speeds up allies that are following it.

Exactly, such an unused potential from his lore. He doesnt feel like Charon except for his passive. He is just some boat dude that can summon waves for no reason
just go play Lapras or Johnson if thats what you want

They used to do it yearsand years ago back when the game first came out but that was so so long ago
Cool, but it would have been nice if he had an ability that gave an ally a ride.
Like maybe a dash forward that picks them up, and grants invulnerability, as a rescue tool.
Or maybe a passive that allows them to hitch a ride and throw out abilities
The kit tied with his lore makes him feel that much more special. Excellent work Hirez. He looks so fun

He feels so dull and only passive actually makes sense for his lore, other than that he is just some boat dude and thats it. With the same 4 abilities Hi-Rez have been putting out for years. Really dissapointing for such a potential.
@@tomsrudzitis4942agreed. River of Oblivion isn't something to summon easy peasy just like that. Sounds way 2 overpowered even for Hades.

Was expecting him to either ferry allies or enemies in some way. Kinda disappointed. That ult would be even cooler if it forced Charon to ride it while picking up any ally close to him. Would’ve added another potential troll guardian in the game which is always a huge plus

This is why I love this game. We're getting gods and other beings that aren't as well recognized or known, such as this badass, and others like Danzaburou, Cliodhna, and Cuculainn.

@@bgf3640well I respect your opinion but I’m having to much fun playing him I won’t play anyone else. A god always could’ve been better. The ult sniping is so fun and using it defensively and rowing behind it with teammates gaining speed and the skull effect with being able to stack shield with teammates is fun for me.

Just did some jungle testing today after his initial release, and with the right build he might just be one of if not THE fastest god in the game. Swift Focus and Summon Styx both have movement speed buffs that stack on each other (for a maximum of _140%_ built in movement speed steroids), which can be enhanced further with movement speed items.
Charon’s Coin + Doom Orb + Relic Dagger + Gem of Focus + Chrono’s Pendant + Magi’s Revenge and any movement boosting relics would pile on the speed, cooldown and CC resistance to close the gap against most anyone. Couple that with his wealth of enemy hindering abilities and Charon could confidently run down almost anyone in the game. Charon can potentially boast consistent bursts speeds of 754 (the usual cap, barring EXTREME circumstances like an 80% CDR movement speed built Chronos) and unlike many gods, Charon can keep it up in normal modes, instead of CDR% upping MOTD’s, which would only make Charon even more consistent. Even in THOSE modes, he has abilities that counter some of the worst the game has to offer, like gods that can nigh-permanently stealth such as Loki, The Morrigan, Izanami, etc…
He better get a “Karen” skin at some point

Little disappointed the other Rivers of Hades aren't included in his kit.
It's just that Styx is the most recognizable, bit disappointed he didn't summon 2 waves for his ult one of Styx and one of phlegethon for the buff
