Thanks brother. It’s been a wild ride of emotions and hectic as all get out. Between packing, construction decisions and getting the places to stay lined out. But everything seems to be moving in the right direction.
Oh Geesh Dave, I am so sorry to this and DEFINITELY A LOT to try to process and endure My prayers will continue for all of you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I can’t imagine, but I still hold to as much as possible, give thanks because it’s only material goods, even the house. You all still have each other to support and help one another through. ❤️🔥🙏🏻🤟🏻❤️🔥🙏🏻🤟🏻❤️🔥🙏🏻🤟🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you ma’am. It definitely is a lot to be thrown at you in a matter of minutes. You’re right, it could have been worse. If my wife hadn’t noticed the moisture who knows how long it would have went! Possibly it wouldn’t have been noticed until the floor fell in
Been there. Not a fun time. Concrete basement so not as bad as your place. We got to stay upstairs. Thank you for the update, Dave. Stay safe and stay cool
It has definitely been a surprise not to mention a cluster! It’s gone from drying things out and replacing the floor to this mess! My poor wife overloaded and broke down when the contractor explained everything to her today. Now we’re in a rush to get everything packed and in the pod by Monday morning. Not to mention that they are putting us up somewhere and we don’t know where yet.
Insulation acts as a candle wick and wicks moisture up into your walls. Don't let them get away from checking your wall moisture content, or you will be facing mold and rot inside the walls. I've dealt with this before in Daviess County in the floodplain.
We’re lucky that we didn’t have any insulation under the house. It’s a combination of the water leak from the fridge and the moisture from under the house they said. They did check the walls and said they were good.
Insurance adjuster has been here, just waiting on the estimate from the contractor to find out exactly how much they’re going to cover. Hopefully almost all of it. 🤞🏻
Dang Brother I watched listening while driving working but forgot i hadn't left a message so sorry prayers my friend keep us posted. 🙏

It's a major inconvenience but things will get better.
