I got nicked for doing 70 in my transporter work van on the A30 5 years ago & got a speeding ticket! Didn't realise its 60 in a commercial !! I also got stopped for doing over the ton in my new golf r at the services at bodmin by a lovely copper it was Christmas day and the only thing that saved me was I'd make him late for his xmas dinner &he was a car guy and wanted to have a good look at the golf !the wife couldn't believe it ! She swore blind she saw me cry when I walked to his patrol car 😢
I ride a bike in all weathers have been doing for the last 38 yrs use to commute to work and believe me it's no fun riding in the rain so like baz said if I had the option I wouldn't either but it's my only mode of transport so I have to suck it up.. great vid boys keep em coming.

@twistandgo3414 yes it’s a simple but very effective way. I have tried the way some others do it with loads of wires but the sound does not come through as good. I just put one of the ear pieces infront of my mouth and taped the GoPro mic to it, so the GoPro pics up what I say and what I hear…. I have a patent on it, if you want to use it you can and it will only cost you 1 million quid a month 😁👍🏼

@17:42 these helmets are set up like an Olympic podium because they are in the proper order imo: ARAI with the GOLD, SHOEI in 2nd with a SILVER, AGV in 3rd holding the BRONZE!
Got the same problem with my H2 . Changed battery and still drains in 3 days. Something is draining as the battery is holding charge when not connected. Had to buy a Oxford solar panel . I also cancelled my meta track a few years ago so hopefully that’s not the case it’s searching for signals as the tracker company says not subscribed anymore.
It’s proper annoying, I can’t find my tracker to disconnect it… I have been told that this will be the problem. Not that I have actually looked to hard for it, just under the seats are my limit 😂
Love the channel fellas. I had an RR and that drained the battery until the tracker unit was deactivated. As you say, when it tries to search for a signal it drains the battery. BUT, does the R have a tracker? I had the same bike as you and that didn't.
Hi, it has the datatool stealth that I have not renewed the subscription for after the first years free offer. I wish I never activated it now. Where was your tracker to disconnect it? I have been told by bmw it’s under the rear seat but I couldn’t see it…. It’s proper stealth 🤣

Is the stator or rectifier on your bike broken? Get a voltmeter put it on AC and check that the bike produces AC current when the engine is running. There are a lot of videos online of how to do it. Then if it is, I would suspect that the rectifier is broken and needs to be replaced. If its under warrently BMW should fix it for free.
I see a triumph in the thumbnail. So I came to investigate I see it's a 13 plate so I assume it's the 675 and not the 765?. Props to her for jumping on the s1k and not launching it into the atmosphere off clutch, she actually looked quite comfortable on it also I'm sure the bmw has a higher seat height also. when he said jump start for some reason I heard bump start and expected to see you run the bike down the road lol.

@@Mancs1000r well on my gen2 my alarm can be deactivated via the setting (equipment settings) (DWA) it can be turnt off. By default I believe it's set to AUTO ON. Hope this helps

Great video, enjoyed that, even better You Tube award! The new Yamaha Fazer 9 GT+ you can get a heated seat, radar cruise and the yamaha gen 3 quick shifter, you can down gear whilst on the power. But then is your bike proving the old adage... the more tech, the more issues. What Duke are thinking of getting? BMW owe you a battery, without a doubt, that first one should not have gone in that time, especially garaged over winter.
Nice one 😁 I have spoke to bmw and they suggested disconnecting the datatool after I told them that is what is causing the problem… I can’t find it though. Tbh it’s not very good customer service from them to just say that and not help with it. I am seriously thinking about the Ducati streetfighter v4s, just for the looks and to see what all the fuss is about with Ducati…. Oh and then I can support them winning the gp and world superbikes, oh and bsb.. oh and Marquez is going to them 😁👍🏼
Hi mate i am sure you will need a new regulator rectifier mine went on my 2017 bmw s1000r it done the same thing as yours after your last journey on the bike when you turned the bike off it drains the battery until its dead i guarantee if you fitted another battery it will fine up its just not charging the battery from the rectifier.
I’ll have to check this after I’ve disconnected the datatool, someone last week suggested that this was the problem and I spoke to bmw, they said that a few people are having the problem and disconnecting this solves the problem… I can’t find it though 🤣 If that doesn’t work I’ll bring it back to them and tell them what you said to save them messing around with it for hours… get them straight to the problem so they can fix it 😊 Cheers again Ryan 😁👍🏼
@@Mancs1000r no problem it might be something else but i have had a few bikes with bad rectifiers normal symptoms is the bike runs for 20mins then the lights start to dim and then you loose all power only last week my piagio mp3 broke down because of a bad rectifier. or in some cases you leave the bike for a day and then goto start it its dead and drained. ps i would let bmw fix this mate its a big job getting to the rectifier.

Great video, enjoyed that, even better You Tube award! The new Yamaha Fazer 9 GT+ you can get a heated seat, radar cruise and the yamaha gen 3 quick shifter, you can down gear whilst on the power. But then is your bike proving the old adage... the more tech, the more issues. What Duke are thinking of getting? BMW owe you a battery, without a doubt, that first one should not have gone in that time, especially garaged over winter.

I have spoke to bmw and they suggested disconnecting the datatool after I told them that is what is causing the problem… I can’t find it though. Tbh it’s not very good customer service from them to just say that and not help with it.
I am seriously thinking about the Ducati streetfighter v4s, just for the looks and to see what all the fuss is about with Ducati…. Oh and then I can support them winning the gp and world superbikes, oh and bsb.. oh and Marquez is going to them 😁👍🏼
Hi mate i am sure you will need a new regulator rectifier mine went on my 2017 bmw s1000r it done the same thing as yours after your last journey on the bike when you turned the bike off it drains the battery until its dead i guarantee if you fitted another battery it will fine up its just not charging the battery from the rectifier.
I’ll have to check this after I’ve disconnected the datatool, someone last week suggested that this was the problem and I spoke to bmw, they said that a few people are having the problem and disconnecting this solves the problem… I can’t find it though 🤣
If that doesn’t work I’ll bring it back to them and tell them what you said to save them messing around with it for hours… get them straight to the problem so they can fix it 😊

@@Mancs1000r no problem it might be something else but i have had a few bikes with bad rectifiers normal symptoms is the bike runs for 20mins then the lights start to dim and then you loose all power only last week my piagio mp3 broke down because of a bad rectifier. or in some cases you leave the bike for a day and then goto start it its dead and drained. ps i would let bmw fix this mate its a big job getting to the rectifier.

I had the datatool stealth but never renewed the subscription and I’ve been told by a couple of people that this is the problem. I called bmw and they also said it is and to disconnect it if I don’t have the subscription as it will constantly look for signal and drain the battery… problem is, I don’t know where it is 🤣
