I removed my Alto's thermostat valve in jan of 2019 since then I have seen major drop of 11 from 15 kmpl in city. I haven't been able to find replacement since then. I was told by a very experienced mechanic that my father used to own a fiat and my uncle too but my uncle had a newer model which had really better mileage because it used to have thermostat vavles and coolant pipes running to carburettor.
Try and get valve fitted soon....your car needs to warm up to adequate temperature for good mileage. You are wasting money..order from boodmo or gomechanic

but bro you could have explained what was wrong with the original thermostat..and why was it replaced....if it was overheating,how did u find out that the thermostat was the issue....great video nonetheless!..
There is a temp written on thermostat, if thermo doesnt start opening at that temp then it is bad, sometimes it gets stuck open or closed, that also is an issue. Thats why change thermo else engine wear and tear increases, bad mileage and overheats too.

I have tata tiago petrol xt 19 feb model . Great problem is its mileage is 10-11 km/ltr. Tata works shop prople says there is issue . They have flashed software 2-3 times but no improvment.
Can you please suggest solution is there any problem in engine , air mass sensor, tappit ,rocker arm .
Please understand it and suggest what can I do. On the other hand I should sell it. It is single hand driven only in bhopal city.

Sir ji as on date it is total run kilometer is 8700 approx. since fed 2019 ( since purchased).
I followed instructions and drive eco mode eith proper method some time in second gear it lack of power as if moter bike come in reserve but after running it become normal . In 3rd service tata workshop people changed spark plug ,oil and air filter too but situation is unchanged.
Sur ji Is there any issue in ECU if so what can be done or what is the solution .Now a days it stand idel and in no longer use .
Please undestand entire problem and suggest what best can the solution . I stands bhopal . In your view any expertise available in bhopal please suggest. My no. Is 9425300476. Please talk once .

Sir g mera pass commercial gaadi hai ashok leyland dost bs3 model useme ye problem tha ki gaadi 98° fan on hoo tha temperature down k baad fan off fir se 98° on eaysa hi 15000 km chala baad me patha chala ye problem radiator ka niche se switch nikla tha abhi problem nahi hai. Abhi 86° fan on hoo tha hai. 15000 km gaadi chala 98°. Baad me koi problem hoo sakh tha engine me. Abhi total 95000 km chala hai. Gadi sale kadu ya rakhu Please reply

Bs6 diesel ashok leyland dost plus lx model purchase kar ne ko soch raha hu. Bs6 me koi problem (maintenance jayda to nahi) abhi bs3 hai bs6 diesel se koi problem injector ko baad me.
