Maybe you can help me understand the purpose of the round bearing? It would seem to me that if most of the motion of the ball bearing is vertical, you would want the round bearing to also be vertical? Instead of wearing the hard faces? Maybe I don’t understand?

The bearing is mounted at a slight angle because of this angle the bearing rotates as well as the ball! Installing the bearing not on a perfect plane, but at a slight angle is mandatory or the bearing will not rotate! Thank you my friend! Welcome to my channel!
