    I bought your #1 choice, an 8” Seesii. Piece of junk! I used it maybe ten minutes. The chain wouldn’t stay on. I tried both chains..too long or something. Sent it back. I’m older and need one that’s reliable and thought I’d watch best reviews. You chose this as your first? I have no idea what to get, at this point. Very disappointed…

    I am a native born American, am 72 years old, and I have never heard the electrical term: mAh...milliamphour...pronounced as 'mah' as in ma & pa...names of our parents. Where did you get your pronunciation from? Is it a computer generated voice? That would explain it.
    I just bought the Imoumlive brand mini-chainsaw with extendable pole. I bought the saw with the 8" chain because it has a chain speed of 26 ft/sec, much faster than these 6" models shown here that only go at about 19 ft/sec. The 6" version of the Imoumlive brand also only goes about 19 ft/sec, so I went for the 8" version for the faster chain speed.
    I didn't like the models that didn't have an oil reservoir that required carrying a little oil bottle and manually oiling the chain. The Imoumlive saw has the oil reservoir, a big plus for me.
    I cut several large limbs, about 6" in diameter, from my Oak trees and then cut the limbs up to go on my burn pile. The battery only used one bar on the charge indicator...nice..!!
    Do your own homework...compare all of the features of the mini saws and take notice of the chain speeds and whether or not the saw has an oil reservoir. Yea, if you only cut a couple of small limbs now & then, the lack of an oil reservoir may not be as important as when you have a lot of cutting to do. Then, you will appreciate only needing to push the primer button a couple of times over having to carry a little oil bottle with you.
    I have watched a lot of these TH-cam videos about these mini saws, and in every one of them, it shows a man pushing down real hard on the saw to get it to cut through the limb as fast as possible. I think that is ridiculous.

      Firstly, I beg your apology for the voice. Actually my voice artist is not Native American. And 2nd, I did a overview of those 8 mini chainsaws not in depth review.

      @@thetoolsguys I want to thank you for explaining about the voice artist, and I respect you for offering an apology. That means to me that you really care about your viewers thoughts.
      I and so many other TH-cam viewers have gotten so frustrated and angry when a channel uses an awful computer voice/Robo Voice/ whatever the latest term is and doesn't seem to care or even attempt to respond when we point out just how awful and stupid that artificial voice sounds when pronouncing common words and terms and trying to read a sentence properly. It's like scraping your fingernails down an old-fashioned slate chalk board....SCREEECHH...!!!!
      I offer my apology to you for dumping you in with these other uncaring channels. You just proved that you are not like them....HOORAY...!!!

    2:14 clearly the log on the "better" chainsaw was already cut and left some wood just to hold on

      Thank you for pointing that out! It's important for comparisons to be fair and accurate. If the log was already partially cut, it could skew the results and mislead viewers. Honest demonstrations are crucial for helping people make informed decisions, so your observation is definitely appreciated.

    Looking for a mini chainsaw with a chain braking system. No one ever mentions this on these little saws. Not having this can be very dangerous under certain conditions. It is not mentioned that these chains will keep spinning down even after the start lock button is released. That's dangerous. Does anyone make a mini chainsaw with a chain block or is that for the big boys only?

    • @thetoolsguys
      @thetoolsguys  29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you for raising this important safety concern. It’s true that many mini chainsaws lack a chain brake system, which can be dangerous if the chain continues to spin after release. While most mini chainsaws don't include this feature, some higher-end models might offer it. It’s always best to thoroughly research and prioritize safety features when choosing a chainsaw.

      @@thetoolsguys What led me to this concern was the Tomyvic Mini Chainsaw 6-Inch (Red) I purchased for 50 bucks. I asked the manufacturer via Amazon if they had one with a chain brake. They told me they had a new one B0CRP6BKB7 which had the chain brake. Amazon has it for 69 bucks. You won't find it via this skew and I told them. They said it was the new green one with the hand guard. I ordered it and we will see. I see no mention in the specs but if you listen to the videos the chain sound seems to go silent quicker so...guess I'll find out.
