Unpopular opinion: Voldemort was one of the most underrated characters in the whole series. He was the evilest person, yet he was scarily polite, and NEVER gave up. If that isn't Underrated with a capital U, then idk what is.
Do you know what underrated means? The “politeness” means nothing pertaining to rating… like underrated would refer to a musician who doesn’t get credit for how good they are. Or, in movies, for an antagonist, underrated may mean how they aren’t tending to be as powerful as they are…. Cmon man….
If anything I'd say he's heavily Overrated. Most powerful wizard of our age, the dark lord! Lost to a defenseless baby and then again to the same said baby, multiple times might I add, before he had even graduated school. Not exactly terrifying is he.
It’s cool how Voldemort doesn’t kill Snape the way he usually does. He has so much respect for him that he didn’t want to just simply use the Avada Kadavera spell.

I wish Voldemort and deatheaters had more screen time and yeah there is a lot of plot holes in this series that allows an ordinary teen wizard defeats lord Voldemort who is supposed to be so powerful that even no one dares to say his name. In the entire series we never really witness a display of power from the famous deatheaters too and most of the time their actions are sloppy . I mean they should be more capable. they are fighting a society of wizards
The book really described the power of Death Eaters. Tbh , not all were super powerful, except Bellatrix, Rudolphus , Dolohov , Barty . Fenrir was the scariest because he was a paedophile and Man Eater . Voldemort was powerful enough to make up for it , yet he loses to a teenager with Expelliarmus because.. ✨Destiny✨.
I wonder if Dumbledore is trying to read Voldemort mind when he asked if he knew anything about who did the killing and Voldemort blocking it with occulumency..I didn't read the books so sorry if it's mentioned there. Both were skilled at both techniques. I wouldn't be surprised if Voldemort was already better than most at a young age.
Voldemort was the wizard who gave Harry Potter his scar. He's ex Hogwarts students. He knows the school like the back of his hand. Movie 1 and 2 were when he had his setbacks.
Goblet of fire when lord Voldemort’s first real appearance is just a insane scene. My wand wormtail 😂 what a guy! One question tho when he battles Harry at the cemetery how come expelliamus, sorry if it’s spelt wrong can match with avada kadarva when Harry uses it to defend? Is the killing curse not a much stronger spell?
It's not really to do with the spells, it's the wands. The wands are brothers so they aren't actually attacking one another. That's why in DH1, Voldemort takes Lucius's wand because his wand can't do anything to Harry.
I'm impressed by his intellect and power to be honest, I don't care about his appearance. That's why i love Voldemort more than his younger self. His older self is let's say the final product of who he turned out as.
Crazy thing is that Voldemort almost ended up looking even more monstrous. Just look at some of the earlier designs. But they were worried the designs were so terrifying that it would traumatize children.
I think JK Rowling is one of those authors who can create a great idea but isn’t the best at ultimately developing a story with great prose. I mean Voldemort is a great character. I feel like Rowling does characters who another author could have maybe developed better. Granted I only read and watched the material as an adult; I get their mainly focused on kids.
If you really think about it, it accidentally humanizes Voldemort, shows how evil he is, and shows how close they truly were. It gives the impression that he doesn't want to kill Snape that, unlike most others who followed him, Snape was one of the few he wanted to keep. It also shows that despite being that close, he was willing to kill him for power. Snape's death would also lead to Voldemort's own death.
I get that, but I think it’s perfect. His weird noises seem funny, but they really are just the ramblings of an absolute psychopath. Voldemort was always an awkward psychopath, (Draco hug) and he got his new serpentine and gaunt body and wasn’t exactly comfortable in it yet. He’s like emperor palpatine, he has some goofy moments with his noises but it’s just to show how deranged and inhuman he is at this point.
Ralph Fiennes makes a perfect villain actor, but I have to say.....his portrayal of Amon Goethe in Schindler's List was more chilling than his Lord Voldemort.
Man played a pretty convincing Francis Dollarhyde as well. The one from 2002's Red Dragon. Hell, even on the Maid in Manhattan poster, he still got that creepy Tooth Fairy smile lol.

I love how Voldemort doesn’t have the humanity or etiquette to find Harry’s House as a baby and try and kill him and kill his parents in the process, but many chances in the series and wasted them trying to make the meetings formal and proper duels
8:48 this part always kills me 😂
0:00 Voldemort started to gather some followers, brought em' over to the dark side - he decided to kill them
where is the lie?
🤣
the way he says "g'night professor" kills me every time
Someone said “The man who tried but failed every single time” and it got me thinking. He needed the luck to fail the mission successfully lol 😂
I am so happy that you added lucius's my lord
Mi lord?
Strongest spell in all of HP... NYYAHH! @8:31
Agreed, pretty solid Nyyahh @ 14:19 as well.
I don't care what people think but he is by far my favorite character...🖤💚🐍
would you be a death eater with me?
Same!
🐍💚🤍🖤
Need more lucius and voldemort moments. The way vold says my lord 😂 11:52
Straight up bullied Lucius 😂😂😂
Unpopular opinion: Voldemort was one of the most underrated characters in the whole series. He was the evilest person, yet he was scarily polite, and NEVER gave up. If that isn't Underrated with a capital U, then idk what is.
The word underrated is so overused it doesn't even mean anything anymore.
The main antagonist of the series underrated by who, how?
Voldemort is never underrated, if anything it's been some of the more minor that's underrated.
Even his name incites fear... not exactly underrated. He was set up to be the big bad from the get go.
The third film is the only one in which Voldemort did not appear but was mentioned.
"I can TOUCH you... NOW!"
It’s cool how Voldemort doesn’t kill Snape the way he usually does. He has so much respect for him that he didn’t want to just simply use the Avada Kadavera spell.
Thanks to voldermort i guess? Harry now knows all of the secret these years 😅
i think it's because voldemort thought that snape was the true owner of the elder wand since the elder wand refuses to harm/kill its true master
8:18 Voldemort eating spicy food
I was wondering why I felt a tinge of anxiety. It's the way the scenes cut 🤣
how great would it be if harry after reviving in hagrids arms and springing out while voldemort had that dumbfounded look on his face harry shrugged and was like "alive again! you're seriously bad at this!!" * magic bolt! *
That’s really cringe
@@Nooop655 it actually sounds like a very Harry thing to do
8:49 that pose is just funny
I wish they didn't do that, also the part where he blows the fire and starts laughing. Takes away from the creepiness
Man ! If only they used the original Voldemort facial design
Thank you so much for all your works!! You are amazing! 🥰Could you do the Ron scene pack if possible
and the mega link is not working somehow 😔
This guy was one of the reasons why 2005 was such a living hell for me…
Explain please.
@@CharlotteWellingtor 2005 was one of my darkest years of my life. Me being dragged to my dad’s aunt’s funeral for no reason, the amount of depressing anime released, this moment right here, getting the worst Contra game for Christmas…
His appearance being a face on the back of Quirrel's head used to scare the shit out of me
I wish Voldemort and deatheaters had more screen time and yeah there is a lot of plot holes in this series that allows an ordinary teen wizard defeats lord Voldemort who is supposed to be so powerful that even no one dares to say his name.
✨Destiny✨.
@@Some_guy_passing_byWe know exactly why Voldemort lost.
lmao Voldemort in the GoF was strangely handsome, when I saw the actor I completely understood why and I didn't feel like a freak.
What the heck
@@braydentran1547 ikr
Voldemort is badass 🔥👍
voldy legit scared me when i was like 6 and watched the first one. after the order of the pheonix i cant take him seriously
Prince of Egypt took a weird turn.
Please Tom, if you want a banana, just buy one😂 no need to shout it every three minutes
🤣
Goblet of fire when lord Voldemort’s first real appearance is just a insane scene. My wand wormtail 😂 what a guy! One question tho when he battles Harry at the cemetery how come expelliamus, sorry if it’s spelt wrong can match with avada kadarva when Harry uses it to defend? Is the killing curse not a much stronger spell?
It's not really to do with the spells, it's the wands. The wands are brothers so they aren't actually attacking one another. That's why in DH1, Voldemort takes Lucius's wand because his wand can't do anything to Harry.
I hate that these are all chopped up with cuts everywhere. Let us watch the whole scenes, dammit.
If they did that it would be a copyright infringement.
@@Bruno-by8pb look at the profile pic, you're talking to a kid he doesn't know shit lol.
@@Bruno-by8pb No, it wouldn't. With your logic, all these chopped clips awfully strung together would count as copyright infringement.
People love Tom Riddle's good look but i am just in love with voldy 😢
same :)
You weird as hell
I'm love with both of his look :)
I love both. Tom Riddle is charmingly handsome and Voldemort is somehow alluring
I'm impressed by his intellect and power to be honest, I don't care about his appearance. That's why i love Voldemort more than his younger self. His older self is let's say the final product of who he turned out as.
His eyes were red when on back of quirrell head but when he’s got a body of his own his eyes are blue
8:49 😂😂
My master is very powerful indeed
Crazy thing is that Voldemort almost ended up looking even more monstrous. Just look at some of the earlier designs. But they were worried the designs were so terrifying that it would traumatize children.
He only got 20 mins of screen time in the whole franchise.
I love Voldemort says Crucio his voice is great.
His acting was incredible
I think JK Rowling is one of those authors who can create a great idea but isn’t the best at ultimately developing a story with great prose.
I mean Voldemort is a great character. I feel like Rowling does characters who another author could have maybe developed better.
Granted I only read and watched the material as an adult; I get their mainly focused on kids.
Actually she lost some of her details.
I just realized that the actor playing little Tom Riddle is that Hardin guy from the After series
Voldemort is as cold as he was in Schindler’s list
15:28 The double name sounds kinda weird but you cant deny, it was very respectful to call Snape, Severus.
Ralf Fiennes seemed like such a perfect casting choice, so why is this performance more goofy than intimidating?
I get that, but I think it’s perfect. His weird noises seem funny, but they really are just the ramblings of an absolute psychopath. Voldemort was always an awkward psychopath, (Draco hug) and he got his new serpentine and gaunt body and wasn’t exactly comfortable in it yet. He’s like emperor palpatine, he has some goofy moments with his noises but it’s just to show how deranged and inhuman he is at this point.
How I view Alabama's football coach-Nick Saban.
I love how you made it gradually
13:53 - 13:59 *(Voldemort’s face be like)*
17:01 that laugh tho
These scene packs are really amazing they really are but please do the main character harry potter because noone makes scene packs of him 😭
YESSS ikr It’s so hard for me to find them
That’s the whole movie
bro that's the entire movie
Too long lol
I like that Voldemort gets dropped in hot soup
The legendary laugh
I always wanted to see more of this between Harry and Voldy: 17:52
Those quick exchanges are satisfying to watch.
