3:23 you can see how Voldemort applying pressure to Harry’s scar hurts him severely, however you can see Voldemort slightly wince as part of him is inside Harry. So although Harry received much more pain, Voldemort hurt himself in a way... thus why he stopped.

That final battle felt so contrived. I wanted the final battle to be exactly how it was in the books. The build up was supposed to lead up to that final clash. It made Harry look more like someone who was looking for the right opportunity to kill Voldemort, which made sense cause he wasn't as skilled as him. In the movies they made him out to look as if he was an equal to him, which he wasn't.
Even in the films Voldemort was far more skilled than Harry, the problem was he couldn't kill Harry with the elder wand.

Voldemorts magic was already incredibly powerful against most other wizards, but he wanted more than that. He still could kill Harry if he had the opportunity, even in the final clash. But you're right, they didn't make Harry Voldemorts equal, i was wrong. Instead they made Voldemort a dumb weakling. Harry was smack talking the guy the whole time and Voldemort just stood their like an asshole, even walking right up to Harry's face so he could physically grab him and jump off the tower. What the hell? How is Harry getting away with doing shit like that to the so called Dark Lord?
No, they made Voldemort look weak and pathetic. He had ample opportunity to kill Harry in the final "battle" and instead he just stood there waiting until they were properly straight across from one another that way Harry could do that Dragon Ball beam clash bs to prolong the fight so we have our dumb Lord of the Rings ending. The true ending only lasted a second and Harry took a chance to kill the most powerful wizard alive and it worked out to his benefit. That's how it should have been in the films. Instead it was a typical Hollywood ending with no finesse or emotional impact to itself. It was a massive F you to fans and I've since blocked the movie out of my mind since.

Yes, because in context, every duel with Harry and Voldemort in the films portrayed the latter as more powerful but losing due to the circumstances of the fight.

You don't get it, do you? If Voldemort had the wand work properly for him then there would be no reason to stop using it at all, especially since he had Harry on the ground at one point and vulnerable to be hit. However, his killing curse had failed on Harry which is why he resorted to slapping him at all (I still don't like that scene, but it doesn't come out of the blue).

Harry didn't even kill Voldemort in the books, at least not on purpose. Voldemort's own killing curse was reflected back on him because Harry was the elder wands master which he told Voldemort before their final duel. Ultimately, it was Voldemort that was responsible for his own death. I will say I don't like how this film turned his body into ashes though, that made no sense.

That doesn't negate the fact that the fight in the movie itself was dumb, contrived, and elongated for posterities sake so the filmmakers were satisfied with it. They thought the simpler, shorter, smart book version of what happened wasn't EPIC enough to translate into film so they came up with the most artifical and dumbass ways to make the fight longer and more...ahem...."intense" as they would word it.
They made Voldemort a dumbass for no reason who went out of his way to make himself vulnerable to Harry in the only ways that were currently available. They made Harry this shit talking asshole out of nowhere who, instead of fearing for his life and the success of his assassination of the Wizarding worlds greatest enemy, instead of hoping to quickly and efficiently seize victory from a guy who's been mostly infallible from all resistance against him, just decides to immaturely mock the guy like some punk on the street. And old Voldy just walks up to him like a dumbass, let's him insult him instead of trying to kill him as usual. Then Harry stupidly tries and throws each other off a cliff (how did he know that wouldnt kill him?), and then they go on this psychedelic Black Surfer trip, then they fall down and survive, then initiate another retarded Kamehameha beam clash.........TWICE......before what we have been foregoing this entire time, FINALLY happens! He doesn't even properly die either. They turn him into this Mass Effect space dust
Do you mean to tell me none of those things aren't dumb? Sure, I get Voldemorts wand couldn't kill Harry, I didn't remember until I just looked it up, but that's not even an issue with the movie version. It's how much they tried to stupidly lengthen their fight to be like this EPIC battle when it was a fitting end as it was. The movie was so overly aware of how this was the last HP movie and it needed to stroke its own ego to be something bigger than it already was. I thought it was a dumb finale through and through.

The sacrifice charm is a blood charm so he took the blood of harry that was protected . Now he was safe.

When Voldemort took Harry's blood he accidentally let it keep protecting Harry for another 16 years. Thats why in the DH2 when Voldemort" killed" Harry in the forest Harry didn't actually die because of the sacrifice spell. So instead of killing Harry and the horcrux Voldemort killed only the second one..Hope it makes sense. Its a bit confusing

All I can see here is a young, goodhearted and brave man whos being saved by his mother's love.

Lots of very precise circumstances played out in order for Harry to be able to kill Voldemort:
- Snape deceiving literally everyone, but most importantly Voldemort.
- Dumbedore sacrificing himself at precisely the right point.
- The prophecy enticing Voldemort to cause all of these things to go in motion.
- Neville fulfilling his part of the prophesy.
- Harry doing his part in ending the terror of the Dark Lord
And probably most importantly, Voldemort himself killing Harry Potter (thus unknowingly destroying the last Horacrux).
This goes BEYOND just one little boy defeating the Dark Lord....it involves an entire generation doing it.
Fun Fact: Voldemort telling Harry to kill Bellatrix is a reference to Return of The Jedi since it's very similar to The Emperor telling Luke to kill the weakened Darth Vader.

@@bladestatz6425 The horcrux in Harry was destroyed when Voldemort used the killing curse on him in the woods. The last horcrux is indeed the one that was in Nagini. Although Neville didn't kill Voldemort, Voldemort still had 1/7th of his soul within himself, and with all the horcruxes destroyed, that meant that Harry was able to destroy the last 7th of his soul and destroy voldemort.

eLi.penelope 2008 the magic spell used to create a Horcrux made Voldemort’s soul unstable since he did it 6 times. That’s how his soul split up again when he tried to kill Harry. Since the soul inside of Harry wasn’t bound by the same spell as the other Horcruxes, only Voldemort could destroy it. It’s explained better in the book.
The item, or in this case the body, of the Horcrux must be completely destroyed.

He simultaneously shouts out Dumbledore (who always called Voldemort Tom), reminds him that the first time they met, Voldemort was almost destroyed, and points out that, come what may, this time one of them was going to die, and it could just as easily be Voldemort as Harry.

It’s very interesting how I’m the beginning Voldemort tried to kill Harry still when the duel began between he and Dumbledore.
Dumbledore is honestly powerful enough that Voldemort cannot kill him in the moment, so he does everything in his power to not only hold him off but focus slight side attacks toward Harry until he realizes that he must have complete focus on Harry in order to kill him right then and there so he returns to focusing on Dumbledore fully long enough until he can get another chance at Harry. (The first sign of this can be seen when he tries pushing his attack to the side aiming it towards Harry’s direction trying to hit him with a partial bit of his attack, whether or not the spell (which I assume is his signature one [we all know the one]) would have still killed Harry or maimed him considering it was a smaller portion of the main spell.

But.. why did you skipped the fight in harrys mind? it's such a meaningful thing. Fighting against his own big demon inside his head. Finally finding out the difference between them. Finding out that there's more. How important love and friendship is and making a point that this demon, Voldemort can't even stand the smallest chance to defeat him.
Voldemorts face was the same when Harry escaped Hagrids arms, still not getting why he will always gonna fail.

The final battle was soooooooooooo much better in the book! It was nothing even remotely similar to what we saw in the movie, not even close. For one thing, it happened in the Great Hall in front of hundreds of witnesses, and Voldemort didn't disintegrate. He just died, and the battle ended with Harry standing over his corpse holding a wand in each hand. In their 'conversation' before the finale Harry even had a chance to explain how Snape was Dumbeldore's spy all along and he was just too blind to see it and that he, Harry, was the true master of the Elder Wand and that's why it still wouldn't work for Voldemort. It was basically like five minutes of Harry telling Voldemort how big of an idiot he is while calling him "Riddle" the whole time, which really pissed him off. ("You dare?!" "Yes, I dare!") It was great! If you ever get the chance I HIGHLY recommend that you take the time to listen to the final battle on audiobook. It is absolutely the best way to experience it!!! In fact, I think I'm going to do that right now...for the 100th time or so.
Also, why does no one ever mention that Harry straight up killed his teacher at age eleven? Then at age twelve he took another one of his teachers hostage and forced him to go down into a hole with a big monster in it! Admittedly, they both had it coming, and everyone just seems to be OK with it.
