    The moments his numbers dropped wad right after suffering concussion. The number he puts right now against Monaco (one European top 8 teams) mean way much more.

    If he does get drafted by the Wizards at 2, their wing rotation of Bilal, Risacher & Deni for the future would honestly be interesting to watch develop. Especially with how important 3&D wings are to the makeup of a team, watching those three continuing to grow and build chemistry together would definitely make me watch more Wizard games.

      It would be a great long term trio, but I really don't trust the Washington setup at the moment and a team with this version of Poole will inevitably be one that balls up a lot of good prospects development. Kuzma can ball, Bilal and Deni also but with Poole there they won't even be a playin team unfortunately

    Definitely going to be a test of how much teams value role players compared to upside swings. I wouldn't hate the Spurs taking him at 4 and then taking whichever of Topic, Dillingham, or Collier is available at 8 since there are so few intriguing wings in this draft

    • @bballer191
      @bballer191 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wizards are going to take Risacher at 2 which is good because he's an overrated prospect. Spurs would be better off taking a swing on someone with more upside.

  • @bballer191
    @bballer191 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +22

    So basically he's just your average 3&D wing... Not hating, but this just goes to show how bad this draft is when a 3&D wing averaging 10 ppg who isn't a play-maker and who is an average athlete is going #2 overall. The analytics literally have him as a Late 1st - early 2nd Round pick... not kidding. He went multiple games this season where he didn't score a single point (!!). He's going to be a career role player. Will never even sniff an All-Star Game. Calling it now.

    Rissacher has been my no'1 player on my Fanspo big board all season and his performances in the playoffs has cemented his place as top pick further. Although I can imagine Hawks trading Capela and grabbing Sarr as future C. Also Jaylon Johnson is rising rapidly on the wing and Bey will be healthy so Rissacher may not get the mins he is capable of playing RN. I do not want Rissacher to waste his career at Washington though. So fingers crossed it will be Atlanta

    • @pheralanpathfinder4897
      @pheralanpathfinder4897 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

  • @jacobpadden4635

    I do not see it with Risacher. He is very limited athletically and it doesn’t seem like he has the quickness or flexibility to develop any on ball creation or to become a strong wing defender. As his calling card, his point shot is also very stiff and slow. His mechanics are not even comparable to elite 3 point shooting forwards like MPJ or Lauri Markannen.

    Firstly the Question that Comes to my mind with a Very Young Player like this is how Quickly will he be able to Transition over to NBA Ball.
    He seems to have the Mindset of a Point Guard, who needsvto have the Ball in his Hands, averaging 3 Dribbles before making a Play.
    Being Young as he is, and the way he likes that Ball in his Hands, he is Best Suited for an NBA Team with 1-2 Guards who are not so Ball Hungry.
    If he Finds that Team, he will have Immediate Success at what he Does Best but if he Doesn’t, as a Big who is Playing Small, he will end up like a Karl Anthony Towns, who just Showed the World that he is not Capable of Helping his Team make it to the NBA Finals.

    I think Americans struggle to scout Europeans. The competition is higher in pro Europe than NCAA so it often makes Europeans appear worse and vice versa for NCAA players.
    19 and performing in a Euro pro league is elite potential. Only Wemby has performed better at his age and Risacher deserves more credit for holding his own at 19 in a grown man's league

    • @hb-robo
      @hb-robo 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Luka was dramatically better at the same age. Usman Garuba started for Real Madrid at 18. No need to exaggerate.

    • @madguitarist63
      @madguitarist63 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@hb-robo 😂😂 the only exaggeration is thinking those two are remotely comparable. One of those actually produced in a pro league. The other still has never produced in ANY pro league at 22...
      Technically Risacher started at 18. My comment was on production which he has done at 19 on the biggest stage in Europe. That's not common regardless of whether you like it or not.
      You know what Risacher and Luka have in common? They both produced in Eurocup at 19 🤷‍♂️

    • @hb-robo
      @hb-robo 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@madguitarist63 What I said was pretty easy to understand, don't know how you managed to bend it that far.
      1. being on a good team in Eurocup at a young age doesn't mean shit for NBA translation. Hence Usman
      2. "Only Wemby has performed better at his age" is delusionally wrong on every single level. Hence Luka

    If he fell to the Hornets at 6, which I don't think will happen , they shouldn't pass on him, the size of Lamelo Ball at 6 ft 7, Brandon Miller at 6 ft 8 (which they've been playing him at the 2), and Zaccharie Risacher at 6 ft 9, would be scary one two three for them.

    To be honest, Risascher deserves to be the first pick in the draft. In my opinion, he is better than Sarr. If given the chance to pick the best player, I would choose Risascher as the number one pick because he is a scorer. Sarr, on the other hand, is primarily a defender and won't average 20 points per game in the NBA; that would be unrealistic.
    Here are my top 10 picks:
    1 Risascher
    2 Sarr
    3 Sheppard
    4 Topic/SPURS
    5 C. Williams
    6 Clingan
    7 Knecht
    8 Buzelis/SPURS (the "wolf in sheep's clothing" who was part of the Lithuanian team in FIBA 2024 that gave Team USA a lot of trouble; his outside shooting is underrated. Trust me, the Spurs should take him-he's a 6'9" SF)

    Wizards are where rookies go to handcuff their potential. Sadly, looks like it's where this player is going. Franz Wagner mold. Solid player? Yes. Superstar? No.

      @Jon-BEDM 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DOGUICRF Maybe that's the best scenario anyway. I'm for any talent upside for The Blazers, guard or no. Maybe Dillingham or Topic would be better long-term impact players than anyone else in the top 10. Maybe Scoot is more of a 6th man and Simons is dealt, along with Brogdon, and a trio of Scoot, Sharpe, and whoever they draft (Castle would be best) can make the franchise relevant again.

    Picking this dude top 3 is a mistake...he won't be a top 5 player in this draft career wise...he is not a top 3 future talent...he is what he is....very rashard lewis like...can get you 18 and 7 on a good day maybe 19 or 20 and 6...not much else

      It seems so flat at the top of the draft, that it's really just personal opinion that makes you lean one way or the other.
      I still feel like there will be at least two All-Stars in this draft.... they just might be picked in the 20s. 😅😅
