I find this man extremely fascinating. I appreciate someone who uses their rational and spiritual self. He expresses himself so beautifully and he says things about faith that do not insult the rational mind. He really resonates with me.

I'm not a Christian but I find this man fascinating. I really like the way he expresses himself and explains his opinions. He talks a lot of sense and doesn't impose his beliefs, he merely states what his experience has taught him.

THIS! Oh Fr. Lazarus ElAnthony (wherever you are), thank you for sharing your thoughts about these things (I feel the same way). Now I will look at the history of the Coptic Church. May the Lord Our God bless you whether you are still on terra firma or asleep in Him. 💖

Terra firma... Are u Italian or is this expression also found in English?

    • @TinaICXCNIKA

Hello@@georgeabhayoic. It is indeed found in English and, I'm not Italian. This term/phrase is something that I heard, understood and used for most of my life...especially in this context. Every morning that I wake up alive, I thank God that I'm still on terra firma and not under it. 😉

God Bless! Very interesting faith experience and ideas. However one point is discussable: Father Lazarus makes difference between Church and Christ. It needs to be clarified as according orthodox doctrine The Church as general is the body of Christ, see Corinthians 12:27. It is very crucial principal of Orthodoxy. For an example how you can get Eucharist/Lord's supper outside the Church?

He probably means many christians in many churches did terrible things that are contrary to Christ teachings

It is extremely annoying to have the CYC plastered in the middle of the screen distracting to the message!

While I love watching these little episodes, I have to disagree with one thing: Christianity is NOT different from the church. The Eucharist is housed in the church, therefore, Christianity (how to know God through Christ by the Holy Spirit) is fundamentally wrapped up with the "institution" that Christ founded (for better or for worse)!

Please don't put your CYC logo over the person's face. What a horrible thing to do.

Father, i disagree with you on church matter. The curch is the body of Christ, has human members which can be imperfect and can do mistakes but The Church itself is perfect. Must acknowledge world's violence, brutally, evilness that was before Christianity and see the moral system that came with it and changed the world drastically for the better. The hypocrisy of westerns when they judge Christianity but could never live the same in a non-christian country. People take for granted their privilege and spoil it.
