Mike, I just picked up this remote. Love how I can self center the left throttle stick. my question is... Is it possible to make the horizontal movement of left stick NOT spring loaded? for my rig, I don't want that spring loaded if possible. Thanks for your help and experience!
Hi I have a DX8 Black, I was trying to learn functions and mistakenly switched modes on my transmitter. I do not have a switch on the back of my transmitter and managed to get my settings back is there a way to check if I have reset it back correctly?
I realize this video is a couple of years old but I stumbled on it and so could an inexperienced beginner. Therefore I'll ask; Why in the world would you ever have a need to have the throttle "spring loaded to the neutral position". See 0:42. That seems like a very dangerous thing to do no matter the power source. Because I'm an airplane flyer a throttle that returns to half open when the stick is released just seems way wrong. However even if used to fly rotor craft or multi rotor, drive cars or anything with a power plant, that control configuration seems like a candidate for disaster.
i'm using for semi truck. in a vehicle, center position is no movement. up is go and down is reverse... that's why self center is there. Just because you don't use it, doesn't mean it doesn't apply to other hobbyist.

I'm thinkin the dx6e and a blade 200 QX. I do have a dx7 but figured id upgrade. whats your thoughts on that dx6e?
I think you may need to then show people how to change the software to enable it to electronically see the physical changes.. cheers.

@@jleverington ok, but they use it in quad rotors; i've flown quads and my setup was just like with a plane.
