I have this one on the rubber strap. Everything about it is great except for the omnipresent rattle whenever I move my hand even a little. It’s a little musical instrument when I’m typing. Considering removing the rotor and just using it as a hand-wind.
The rotor is that loud?!
@@artkingofwholefoods74yeah I've got a few pieces with this movement and the first few times I heard the rotor noise I had literally no fucking clue what I was hearing! Barring that though it's been a decently reliable movement 🤷🏾♂️
I have a corgeut that is like that, i think it is funny and reassuring that it is winding.

I have this watch in black, and i love it. Its my favorite watch, it looks good, works well, and the Quality is very good! One of the best automatic watches i ever had
Wow that lume is beautiful
ofc i like the lume and the colors. i also like what they done with the date window and keeping the dials symmetry. i was comsidering getting one bc its a handsome compressor style with a great value but i couldnt bc of the movement. hopefully they listen and make a better version. i wouldnt mind paying extra to get a better watch and i think im not the only one..

It does look good, but I have a similar style Rdunae and that wears very large for me. How long does the lume last? Orange lume always seems to fade faster than other colours. I think you are a bit hard on the Miyota movement, they have a reputation for being tough and reliable, although I would agree, I would prefer the nh35.
They removed the brick work, happy days....the lume is crazy and goes to prove it can be done under $100 mark....the only stumbling block for me here is the name, a couple of adjustments and this goes from good to ding dong....🏴⌚🏴⌚
Just gkt mine, one day wear is nice. Silicone strap. Will be my daily beater, replacing my stauer rittorno. So far, lower screw down crown is hard to screw in, threads are tough to get started,mfeels cheap like aluminum. Thats my only issue.
So glad you reviewed this one Jason. I definitely like the style, and specs are certainly very good. Value is excellent. Love the dual crown and inner rotating crown system. Lume is awesome. Well done Berny.

That lume is dope! The two colors and and the orange offset that looks like a rev counter in a car! This looks awesome! Well done Berny! I kinda like the Miyota haha. Yeah its outdated but its like an old Toyota. They just keep going. 😆Have a good one Jason!
I realize most seem to want mechanical/automatic, but this watch with a VH31 instead would get my wallet open.
Nice review. Just got this watch here in Tanzania from Ali. A couple of things. The on i got has a very smooth movement, no stutter at all. My 7.5 inch wrist just about carries the size off. The vertical brushing is almost invisible on this one, but, and it is a big one, the bracelet clasp is total shit. Terrible fit, wont lie flush. I just took it off, so ok now. Otherwise all v nice.
I love the Berny small (37mm) titanium VH31 offerings despite the small crown; one is on my wrist now. (Lume is good except on the white dial) However, this price for a Miyota = fail IMHO. Someone else mentioned the Rdunae R3 for this general type of watch and I could not agree more.

Unfortunately i already have a Rdunae and just recently picked up a Phoibos Eagle Ray as compressors ... Had i not had two already I probably would be picking this up.

I really like this Berny and i considered a purchase. But it has the miyota 8215 inside and i would regret the buy if the second hand has the typical stutter. Why don't they put in a reliable Seiko NH35?
I had a look at this watch before the sale and didn't buy it because of the miyota movement. At the price point it is unacceptable and should have been the Seiko.
Instead I bought the new Rdunae R3 BC which is the new black PVD variant. It is still on the way to me, but I have no regrets about going for something with the Seiko NH movement.

Cool watch but the dial looks like it was made from very cheap plastic, it looks terrible. And the date further makes it undesireable.
Some people appear to be digging it, but I agree - the dial appears to be plastic and the pressed indices look cheap to me. Not sold on it, although I love the colors and the lume shot.
I've been looking at this for so long but ive been fully sold on it because other stuff just keep on popping up
Wow, that lume is spectacular, really nice watch, but putting the date at 3 : 30 is a bit risqué.
Berny make really great watches, I already bought two from them. One is an orange dial V1 of the current watch (which also has a Miyota 8215 and I hate the feeling when setting the time on that one, but well, it's a workhorse...) and their newer titanium flieger. They are really well made for the price and the brand name is not one where you feel compelled to order the unbranded version because it is something like HFRUNZKLY or whatever came out when the cat walked over the keyboard.
