The electric train sets from my younger days had a re-railer section of track. Made life much easier. Thanks FSG.
Fantastic video as always, the tips and help on this mod is very informative. Definetly makes playing with this mod easier. I hope in general we see more added to this mod or see other modders create mods to support this mod. Very exciting to see what develops further with this amazing mod :)

@@TheFarmSimGuy I didn’t realize how much easier it would make it to get locos and train cars back on track. J-weezy did a great job with this mod and you have done a great job showcasing it!

On the 100m I overlap them, they will appear slightly higher but using your mouse you can slide them forward or backward and the will snap into place. I like the incline and decline tracks which allows you to create hills and if you go high enough you can make a nice overpass and create another line going under the bridge. Thanks for the tip on the F5 key because getting the wellcars on the tracks was a nightmare, but the Titan containers will fit nicely in them. 2 20ft containers will go into 1 wellcar and you can place 40ft containers on top of a 45ft container and use the tension belts to strap them down. I put five small tractors on the flatbed trailer and strapped them down.
There is also railroads in the Fences tab for long distance rails 😉
we need a plane of some kind to use as a crop duster. love that they added the train mod but i fell like the crop duster would fit more in the "farming simulator" aspect
There is one by Monaco Modding.
Maybe the creator will implement the use of IC (Interactive controls) so switches and gates can be auto-triggered or at least triggered with a key as you get close to them.
I watched your other train review video as well. Wanted to compliment how awesome and innovative the developer of this mod is to get it working the way it is. Really great demonstration of utilizing existing functions in the game to create something I would have never thought possible otherwise.
That being said, the fact that it has to be a set elevation for the entirety of the track makes it pretty hard to use on maps that do have elevation changes. I don't see myself using it unless it was able to conform to changes in elevation (obviously there has to be a realistic limit to the rate of elevation change on a track). Not known if that would ever be possible in the current game engine, but maybe something that can be looked at in FS25
EDIT: This mod would really shine on large maps like aussie no man's, though I don't know how regular the elevation is on that map or if it's mostly the same overall.
It has incline and decline section of track of various grades. You can then landscape to suit after placing. It is a bit more finicky though to get right.

This looks cool for survival style maps where you are going to build out your own map in the end...but looks like a pain to use on regular maps. I will stick with AutoDrive and trucks, otherwise.
I use the Precision Hands Mod, worked just as easy.

@@TheFarmSimGuy Was really surprised you haven't been using it. Its my "goto" tool for loading bales by hand.
Wonder if there is a disadvantage to just dropping in the shorter rerailer track on occasion, clearly not anywhere you'd want cross traffic (collisions and all) but right after a bend could be useful if anything slipped

Hello The Farm Sim Guy I went into game and I pressed F5 and I did not get the lines or walls how do I set that up so I can place train on tracks like you did ?
The walls are there they are just invisible, you need to turn on developer tools if you went to see the red lines, but you don’t have too

FS22 is becoming a bit stale lately I feel like I’ve done all I can with the game. I’ve spent a lot of time racing Lemans Ultimate the last few weeks to get back some excitement in games.
Same here, probably spending more time in iRacing and WRC than FS at the moment, but every now and again a cool mod like this comes along and captures my interest again
why doesn't the wireframe appear after pressing the f5 button?
You need to have turned the console on in the game.xml
could the models of the base game trains not be used? Are they not available?

This is absolutely unreal,I got the mod in my mod folder but it won’t load up the map,it just stays at 85% any ideas? Cannot wait to figure it out and get in to this

Think FS are clutching at straws now….they’ve lost touch recently. The latest DLC was rubbish. I just hope this is not setting a precedent to what FS25 will become otherwise, I’m out. 😔
What I think they need is better terrain physics and should focus on improving the logging aspect. Not grabbing for any cash they see.
