Atleast Dragonair is at Lv. 18 and if Raticate was chosen it won't appear in the battle. Also most of your Pokémon will survive atleast one Dragon Rage. I think the battle before is worse with the Lv. 20 Tentacruel that outspeeds and OHKO's most things with surf and wraps those that it can't one shot.
@@solidzack That Tentacruel fight is just as bad. I spoke too soon though because this fight doesn't even come close to the round 2 rematch. I had to bring in my own Pokemon with Dragon Rage to beat it.
@@khansolo7258i didn't even attempt round 2 pika cup because I heard the Lv. 20 Alakazam is literally impossible to beat with rentals. It outspeeds and OHKOs pretty much anything with Psychic
I had a lot of trouble with this cup. Until I realized Starmie is a beast at this stage. Brought a level 20 with Surf, Psychic, and Thunder and it destroyed most trainers by itself.
Thanks to that Mew Glitch I had the most busted lineup for Pika Cup both Round 1 and 2 lol L20 Gyarados L15 Dragonite L15 Articuno L20 Tauros L15 Hypno L15 Arcanine Yes, 3/6 of these Pokémon know Dragon Rage.
I used all rentals. Arcanine, geodude, Starmie, Drowzee, dratini, and Raichu. The only trouble was the 8th trainer’s Dragonair. But other than that, cake walk
So much luck in that last match lol. Hyper beam misses, drill peck & petal dance from metronome, & 2 flinches from bite. Also that Lass from the semifinal somehow selected lvl 15 meowth over lvl 20 gyarados & tentacruel. I had 5 continues and still didn't stand a chance against her -.-
Imagine if this were an animé episode. Imagine a badly battered, bruised, and beaten Gyarados weakly celebrating its extremely narrow victory over a Dragonair before itself collapsing into a heap. "OOOOO, IT WAS CASUALLY CAST ASIDE!!!" Has anyone ever seen the Hiker use Hichop, Higast, and Hidabra? -_-; Strange how Lass opted not to use either of her Level 20 Pokémon. Her Gyarados has Thunderbolt, which likely would've been big trouble for you.
No. iirc there's a bug or glitch in the game that makes it so he ALWAYS starts with his Rhyhorn, no matter what your team is. Thus, he's always stuck using Rhyhorn, Seadra and Wigglytuff.
