Just hope that Nintendo will put this on the NSO in the future, hopefully Nintendo will at least find a way to add Transfer Pak support, maybe 3DS ports of Pokemon Red, Yellow and Blue transferred to Pokemon Bank and then Pokemon Home will work. Although I think Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Lets Go Eevee transfers (with the Gen II and forward moves being removed or altered) could work too

I remember never getting through this cup mainly cause moves like Bind were so fucking broken in gen 1. It was so stupid and anytime an opponent would use Bind or Fire Spin made me want to just cry in frustration.
In fact I managed to beat every Pokémon stadium 2 cup without losing once because I always brought the perfect counters by watching over players play the games
