If the Empire had better technology they would have advanced vehicles, ships, weapons, Shields, armor, medical stations, better droids, the works. a question about the force is can it destroy a planet? the republic doesn't exist outside of governed planets. Kylo Ren loves Vader slippers and bathrobe with other things like toy ships.
U shpuld have point that the sith name was not used during the 100 years darkness they just embrace the name when the dark jedi was exiled to moriband and found a race called the sith in tune to the darkside
Since it follows the Canon storyline from the films I take it the rule of one sith under darth krayt and his apprentice Darth talon is now considered non-canon, which is a shame because I'd like to have seen darth talon turn up in Star Wars episode nine the rise of skywalker (spoiler warning) and butcher Palpatine ere he stands, she could've done it too.

Moraband. I still prefer Korriban. But to soften the blow, Moraband is probably derived from moribund, meaning "at the point of death" or "in terminal decline".

Darth Bane only had one Sith apprentice. Her name is Darth Zannah. She would one day challenge her master for rule of the Sith. Zannah killed Darth Bane to become the new Sith master. Darth Zannah then gave her apprentice Bane's lightsaber to use and left Darth Bane's body where he died.
That's what happened to Darth Bane. Sadly not cannon anymore

I think any force sensitive being that have been trained heavily in the dark side or the light side could stop a blaster bolt mid-air.

The recent movie clip just revealed that Palpatine was secretly training Kylo Ren in the dark side since day 1.
*Palpatine* - “I have been every voice”
*Snoke* - “you have ever heard”
*Vader* - “inside your head.”
Kylo Ren is technically a Sith Lord, since he’s been trained by Darth Sidious.
Anthony, Darth Revan (who was just recently officially canonized by Disney) battles with the light and dark constantly too never giving full allegiance to neither side, and he was a Sith Lord...Count Dooku never had yellow eyes and he was a Sith Lord...yellow eyes and fully embracing the dark side with no temptations aren’t requirements of being a Sith Lord.
If you were trained by *the* dark lord of the Sith, if you use the dark side, and follow the Sith way to some degree, you are technically a Sith Lord, and Kylo killed his own father which is literally a Sith rule/law. Kylo Ren is a lot more of a Sith Lord than people think.
Who noticed that hutt space grew when the confederacy of independent systems was created.
This was really good and in depth. I am however a little disappointed that Darth Revan, Darth Malak and Vader's secret apprentice Starkiller real name Galen was not discussed.

There is a line spoken by General Grevious, where Count Dooku was training him in'the Jedi arts" and liked collecting lightsabers off fallen and captured Jedi. Tome it suggested that Dooku was attempting to start taking Grevious as an apprentice.
I understand where you’re coming from but I doubt that. Grevious had no force ability therefore making him vulnerable to a true sith. If he would’ve survived to Obi Wan he probably would’ve been Grand Inquisitor or something like that.

The Jedi and the Sith are both fools! Trying to understand the force by breaking the thing in half. Is like a scientist hoping to understand electromagnetics by separating the electricity from the magnetism. Folly. It is a fundamental force that operates on both spectrums simultaneously. The opposing aspects existing in an interplay. That moment you divide it is the moment you are blinded, left with only a fragment. Jedi blinded by their slave philosophy. Sith blinded by their master philosophy. For all the power these orders possessed each was no more than children playing with the lightning.

It's not that bad. EU canon was typical dick-measuring contest ang grilling the same theme over and over. It was overexposed. There was too many the same Jedi-Sith conflicts. Too many Jedi going dark and going light again. Too many Republic destroyed. Etc. New canon is vague. This is great for narration.

I don't believe the first Jedi were solely devoted to the light. Perhaps they were devoted to the Force as a whole. The "dark" jedi helped to solidify the philosophy of light or dark sides of the Force. Revan is a prime example of "balance" or devotion to the Force for what it is. He was a Jedi Knight and Dark Lord of the Sith. He later renounced the divisive philosophy of "sides". Personally I believe in the energy that is the Force and that it doesn't have sides. It is simply the Force. It surrounds us, penetrates us, and resides within all things. Force=energy. What is smaller than an atom? The energy within the atom. Everything is made up of atoms so in turn everything contains energy or "the Force." You don't need powers to feel empowered by that thought.

Sidious didn't seek out maul as an apprintise as a youngling after he had killed plagueis , he already had been training maul for years but labeled maul as an "assassin" . Technically Maul only became a sith Lord after plagueis was killed

Are you forgetting that the Sith were actually a race of odd-looking humanoids with red skin and weird tentacle-looking things on their face with a mouth like a dog. They were tapping into dark side energies and used ritual sacrifice to tap into the dark side. They were eventually found by a band of those exiled Jedi and they basically took over the planet once the Sith showed them Dark side power. As the Sith race was a Despotic, low tech, tribe almost they were easily taken over and enslaved. Then inbreeding between human and Sith eventually ended up with Naga Sadie and more before him. He's just the one I remember. This is all in Golden Age of the Sith I believe the comic series. That's when the stories of Exar Kun and Nomi Sunrider were written. They were done if my most enjoyed comics I ever read. That and Dark Empire until they made the Star Wars Comic series with Jan Duursema and John Ostrander. They knocked Star Wars out of this world for me. They made just amazing stories art and literary-wise.
I thought that the video would be ruined when you started talking about the crap job some people call "the sequels", but it it wasn't, so good on you for that. Many people say that Rey The Identity Thief is "the chosen one", but they're wrong. Anakin was and always will be the real chosen one. He destroyed the Sith, once and for all. These wannabes like snoke and kylo ren are not sith, only dark side force users, and i'm glad you said that as well.

I find both the light and dark sides of the force to be too extremist in their followings and teachings. If the force itself seeks balance, shouldnt every person capable of its power subconsciously seek to control both to some extent? Grey jedi all the way over here

It depends on the writer. Some, including George Lucas himself I think, seemed to go with the idea that the Force is naturally light and the Dark side is an abomination/corruption that needs to be destroyed. Others, like you said, believe that the Force needs both the Light and Dark sides to function and that the old Jedi and Sith were too stubborn to see that.

Darth Maul wasn't really a sith appretiance. He was more of a sith assassin. When Darth sidious became master, he felt the rule of two was over and replaced it with the rule of one

Dark Bane was not defeated by the Sith, he was defeated by Darth Zannah his apprecentice.
