@@uvdownunder The one thing I have heard though, is the cost of living in buying a new place in Australia is astronomical, even higher than here in USA. That would be my concern for new people moving to the city. But otherwise, it looks like a wonderful place, I look forward to seeing it sometime.
@WORLD_NATURE_FAN Australia surely is quite expensive, but some places are way more expensive than others, so Perth, thankfully, is still one of the affordable ones 🤩
Great place. Been there and lived there. Very friendly people. Clean but windy city. That was our first place in Australia. But unfortunately it has its disadvantages which includes Not great public schools, not well connected public transport, not the best of hospitals and GP's. If you lose your job, its VERY difficult to get one (maybe it was recession when i searched for a job) If you own a car then its a game changer in perth. Also its not that wise to loiter after 6 or 7 pm there :) But overall a wonderful wonderful place to live in. Though Melbourne ticks all boxes, the climate 😭😭😭
@@uvdownunder 🤣🤣🤣 Depends on where you live in Melbourne as well. The south east is a bit more settled, but the west is a bit polluted and causes a lot of allergies
Western Australia is a mining state, so if you have a skill or degree related to mining in any way, then it will be very easy to get a job. In addition, there are jobs like any other big city like banking, consulting, accounting, medicine etc. Overall it's pretty good
Hello from USA. Thank you for this video. I look forward to one day visiting the Perth area.

Totally agree with you. It sure has its disadvantages as you suggested. I also love Melbourne but just can't do with the weather as well 😆

Oh is it! I also don't like the full time rains 🤪
I stand to be corrected, is the beach really safe due to shark attack.
You are absolutely right. Our waters do contain some serious things so it's always important to swim with caution and within the safety flags.
Rather it's drop bears that you should be worried about
