Western Australia is a mining state, so if you have a skill or degree related to mining in any way, then it will be very easy to get a job. In addition, there are jobs like any other big city like banking, consulting, accounting,medicine etc. Overall it's pretty good

Totally agree with you. It sure has its disadvantages as you suggested. I also love Melbourne but just can't do with the weather as well 😆

@@uvdownunder The one thing I have heard though, is the cost of living in buying a new place in Australia is astronomical, even higher than here in USA. That would be my concern for new people moving to the city. But otherwise, it looks like a wonderful place, I look forward to seeing it sometime.

Yes absolutely. If you are looking for shorter trips, zig zag scenic drive enroute to Kalamunda is beautiful, most of Perth Hills is pretty, Fremantle to Rockingham is good too and also Sunset coast drive starting from Cottesloe beach.

You can get sim cards right at the airport after you land.

Hello, coastal suburbs would surely be expensive due to close proximity to the ocean but yes Alkimos has been one of the most demanded suburbs lately. Its a bit far from the city which is not a problem, just something to be aware of 😊

Thanks for this. Since moving to Australia, that's exactly my thoughts. Why would you open for shopping when potentially everyone is at work. With time, I now understand that it's for thr work life balance of business people too, but still find it a bit weird 😁

People have lives to live , you know family and friends . Its easy to understand if you dont put money ahead of people you love, however the more people come to scam our lifestyle from overseas you'll probably find solace in the degrading of peoples family lives due to requiring more money to exist and extended business hours to fund it.
