Sometimes the video production of other ASMR artists is a distraction from the simplicity of ASMR itself. In other words... whatever you decide with microphones, lights, cameras, etc. don't change what made you a part of so many hearts and minds. You do great work.
The bag shot of you grabbing the burger made me realize I would love to see a super artsy ASMR video, with tons of cool camera work as well as your normal talking/whispering.

Hey Tom, regarding sound in the colder months you are correct. When temps are cold the air molecules are closer together, and the air is more dense. Sound waves travel more easily through denser air than in summer when the molecules are further apart. In winter months planes have an easier time taking off (require less power) due to the density of the air.
