You sound so melancholy in this one PG, as you realise you would take PES 2017 any day over the live service disaster PES has become. I too am a victim of Konami, as a massive fan of Metal Gear and Silent Hill. Konami fans should start a victims survivor group 😅

Hi my name is scoop and its been seven years since my last good Konami game.
Pes 2017 has always been my go to football game.
i played pes 2021 and it was shit. had to micro manage every move the player makes ,and defending was a nightmare
I don't even care for soccer games (err, football for everybody besides the U.S.). I still enjoy listening to you review them. Even caught some of your playful special league vids. I couldn't remember if you ever reviewed EA's FIFA series. Could've sworn you did but I can't find them. If they're out there, could you please send a link or let me know if you have a playlist? Sad how many of the once greats in the industry have become almost entirely about profits and mtx over great gameplay right out of the box (not even a box anymore, but no discounts for that either). As usual, thanks for the entertaining review. Too bad it might be Konami's last great soccer (err, football) game.

My issue with 16 was poor off the ball movement from your own team. Plus the ref just waved play on to the most outrageous tackles 😂 Pes 17 had very good ai for both sides. Iss best for ps1. Pes 5 or 6 (readers choice) for Ps2. Pes 13 for Ps3 and 17 for Ps4. Thats me thoughts from an old boy. Great channel. Always enjoy a bit of Pes chat. Efootball is an abomination. Its free but you'd have to pay me to play it. Kids means my free station time is rare and precious! 😅
I love an old school tackle so that was a good thing for me :D I think there were lots of good PES games, just a shame how it all ended up with the disaster of eFootball. Thanks for your support.

pes 2017 is actually good for it's latest modification. I have full setup for download and latest patch for it and this makes it for beautiful to play honestly.

I love pes 17 than fifa series because there are lot patch still update despite fifa 23/24 released. I love new fifa but the glitch make me doesn't enjoy so much playing it. It's really sad that konami stop released pes series and moving on to efootball
I think Konami will regret abandoning this series for eFootball.
Agree that pes 16 was amazing, pes 18 too. I didn't think pes 17 was bad but I really liked fifa 17 so didn't play it as much
I just wish people could still buy these digitally, such a shame they are essentially gone from stores.
Hi. Good review. I believe its because of the end of license contracts that they have to take them down. Would cost too much to keep them going for all the games.
Graphics good but PES6 remains the best
I think PES 6 is in the top 3, for me it was PES 2016 being the most enjoyable one to play by far.
Every single PES after 2013 is absolute trash.

@@PlayGames_PG When they changed engine back in 2014, everything went downwards. PES 2013 sold 6 millions copies and PES 2016 solid 3 million. And it is free to play now. You know how bad the game is when it becomes free.
I do agree that Konami are their own worst enemy, they loved to change things that already works. I think sales wise FIFA had more to do with that, they just invested in the genre when Konami tried to do it on the cheap by relying on the modders. eFootball is the worst thing I've ever seen! Cheers
