Love the amaryllis miss Lisa as well as all your other combo's. I put amaryllis over Amaco's marigold celadon on a mug and it was to die for! I gave it to my post lady as she deserved it for delivering my heavy parcels of glaze! I agree that coyote is soooo expensive and glad I bought what I did when I did. I appreciate you showing us where you take the glazes to, lapping and giving the colors used. You've been busy! Enjoy the rest of your summer.
Beatiful pieces Lisa! Wishing you lots of sales this summer! Ugh, the prices of glazes....aren't you tempted to make more yourself? Your studio glazes are gorgeous! I am going to, as soon as I can buy some basic raw materials. Happy potting, Monique
Thanks Monique. I visited a few potteries in Barbados. Some of them were digging and making their own clay, and shipping of course was slow and expensive. I remember being so impressed with the sheer challenge of it. But was envious of their studios open to the Caribbean breezes 😊
@@finklepottery704 having a studio outside in the Caribbean is a dream, I love it every day! However..... hahahha....I have not (yet?) found good clay in the ground here. I'd be happy to dig it up! 😄
I've found that Raspberry mist turns a red (with a pink tinge) at cone 6. Also, check out Sial-Canada Pottery. Mayco glazes are roughly 24% off and if they are out of stock, the prices make it well worth the wait.
Thanks! I actually do order glazes and clay from them. They are a great company! Thanks for the tip. Maybe I’ll give them a shout out in my next video 😊
BEAUTIFUL POTTERY as always!! I can’t believe how expensive glazes have become and they just Keene up in prince again. I know what that terrible noise was! That was a bad ping! Meaning something cracked! Ugh. Am I right?
@@finklepottery704 thanks for the info! This is 1521 also but maybe its reformulated somehow. I am in US but i will check those out just to compare test tiles with the one at glazequeen. Lovely pink results btw, big fan of your kiln openings!
3:53 that soft pink glaze is indeed super beautiful. Love how it breaks.
Power to the pink😂😂. Beautiful combinations
Thanks for the tip on spectrum soft red. I’ll check it out🌸

Such a kind gesture! I will have to give that combo a try!
@@finklepottery704 How nice of you to send Monique a tip! 🥰 Kindness does matter lol.
Thank you for sharing

I had a piece shiver off my refired mug. Never a good sound! Lol
Thank you for sharing your glaze combinations. I just bought Amarillis and was wondering what combos would work. ❤
Good luck!
I've looked around for soft red previously and can only find "soft red 2" is this the one you used? Love the pinks!!!🩷
My label just says soft red 1521. I am in canada. I ordered mine from Sial pottery in Quebec. They also sell it at amaranth stoneware in Ontario
