- Alisa and Rean have a habit of crashing into each other. This time around, it was Alisa's turn to crash into Rean. With less glaring and more crying.
She really is adorable.

The problem with english voices is that they are good in term of acting but terrible in term of fitting the character. A little girl Millium sound like she is 20+ trying to be cute. Alisa doesnt sound like tsundere at all. Elliot sounds more manly than Gauis. Those voices just dont fit.

Not sure why this made its way into my recommended NOW, but here I am... When it comes to romantic options in video games, I tend to pick what feels most natural to the characters, which falls to Alisa in this case
I... never played Cold Steel I myself, but I did watch my boyfriend play the entirety of CSII (Zero/Azure as well), then went on to play CSIII/IV myself (I've also played all 3 Sky games) I have gripes with the particular depiction of Rean's harem, but I overall found his interactions with Alisa to be the most interesting - particularly because it feels like the one case where he's fully invested himself, rather than just reciprocating another's advances (this felt especially true in CSIII)
I would imagine Laura and Emma also break up with him near the start of CSIV, seeing as it opens that game's choice to the player, but it was interesting to me how Rean always kept that in the back of his mind during Alisa's bond events; he even got kind of smug about it during their trip to Roer, trying to win her back. I wouldn't know specifically how Laura and Emma's play out if you picked them, but I imagine it's similar

Anyhow, my bf just finished Kuro, and I have my concerns over another brewing harem, but at least Risette and Judith don't seem to have feelings for Van... yet; it's an interesting angle for him and Elaine to actually be exes from high school, and then Agnès has also developed feelings for him (a bit concerned about that age gap, but it is what it is) There's also Renne, but it was hard to tell how genuine she was when teasing Van - there was only one time when they were alone, the other cases were her nessing with Agnès lol
tl;dr, I'm not fond of harems, but I picked Alisa since her and Rean's interactions feel the most natural and interesting. I hope Van in Kuro doesn't also develop a harem
Actually Laura and Emma don't break up with Rean if they were romanced in CS3. In contrast to Alisa, Falcom straight up just retconned Laura and Emma's final events out of existence. He does have a line with Emma referencing her final event in CS3, but otherwise CS4 doesn't treat either of them as though they were romanced during that game unlike Alisa.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of harems either. And considering how the "harems" have been handled in Trails so far, it might've been better if they didn't bother.
KURO SPOILERS?
It'd be nice if Kuro didn't develop anything beyond a love triangle (I personally would've had Elaine as Van's sole love interest and not give Agnes a crush on him in the first place, but that's a different topic). The fact that Risette and Judith haven't explicitly gained romantic feelings for Van yet gives me a bit of hope, though all it takes is a single game to change everything.

Hi I just played this scene... I have a question...
In CS1 I romance fie... you know take her everywhere and even dance with fie, and it was fie that was looking through Ashen Night glass window at the end...
Now, until this scene, until this point everything looked ok, rean had flashbacks of fie looking through the glass, fie jumped on him when meeting him and now...
Now... Alisa acts all in love plus there is this thing with alisa looking through the glass...?!?!?!?
What the fuck? Is this a bug???

The thing is that I choose Fie, and I would appreciate a little consistency by the game.
At first when the flash backs came and I saw fie I said OK everything is normal... It's not good to force me see Alisa, force me se something it did not happen... And it's really not that difficult to do in development...
It is just un-immersive...
...and there is Fie looking Alisa holding me for 3 minutes and telling me that she will tell me about her feelings while I am already with Fie...
Common...
Never mind. I just wanted to see if it is a bug but after Google it I have the impression that all girls will act this way not only Alisa...

I do applaud your tastes sir, but afaik the scene plays out like this whether or not you chose Alisa in CS1. The only difference is you don't get the flashback of Alisa here, you probably get it when you meet up with Fie earlier in the game.

What I am saying is...
I get both cutscenes... Both Fie looking at through the glass and later also Alyssa looking through the glass ...
What ever though. Minor annoyance... The game still seems to remember now and then that I choose fie, just forcing me to see cutscenes like I also choose Alyssa...
Dont know... Fie is adorable cute and a good character.. Seems to have more depth. Also yeah, she looks better than Alyssa for my taste...
Anyway,the game has nice moments...
However BOTH Alisha and Elliot even on Easy mode SUCK for the ENTIRE game and are NOT in my party ever here I used Fie Millium and Claire when I first entered the Nord Region of CS2 ON Easy mode.
